Long story short, my current vehicle won't last much longer and the only vehicle I am interested in is the 2 door manual transmission bronco, and there are no manual transmissions I have found for sale in 500 miles so I need to order one soon.

It will really spend most of it's life as a daily driver, so the base seems like the obvious winner, but I really like the idea of locking differentials and they talk like the sasquatch makes a tremendous difference in off road capability, but there isn't any solid data I can find. Does the sasquatch affect towing? aside from the locking differential, what am I paying more than 8k for?

Messer Ford in Amarillo had a base in black. You could fly in and drive home...

It appears to be a four door.... but that is a very interesting Idea, thank you!
I guess it sold or was dealer traded...they DID have a 2dr base w/ manual- they texted when it came in since I originally had tried to do a late-order '25 with them. I was eyes-on when i went to look at a truck on their used side around Thanksgiving.

Wound up ordering locally.

Advance 4wd, stronger rack/tie rods, stronger axels, gearing meant for 35's, better shocks with 1.1" of lift, rims with different off-set, wider flares, 35's, added goat modes.

Dealer in Pampa shows to have a base ManSquatch in Desert Sand that is in transit. Pampa is NE of Amarillo...

I've not dealt with them, so have no idea how they are to work with or if they are a dealer that lists customet Special Orders as pending available.

I have this exact model. A '23. My opinion is it's the best config. Least amount of electronic gadgets to fail, best available running gear, and so much fun. Get the SAS, you won't regret it.

^^ this.

If I were buying a new one now, I'd probably go basequatch. The only other option would be Badlands without SAS. I'm not sure what the price difference would be, but pretty sure the basequatch would be better.

In 24 there was no base, and I had to go Big Bend. I wish I had 4a. I like my mid package, but I'd probably choose to live without it. The rest of the SAS package is all nice to haves, but not critical to me as a daily driver.

I got the impression he was looking for potential reasons to get SAS on a daily driver, and towing was kind of a throw in, like maybe I am getting this?

I'd think that the 4.7s would help with towing giving a little more control during take offs. It won't change anything about how much you can 'legally' tow. Beyond that, Sasquatch shouldn't add anything to the ability to tow. I'd add that imo, the small tires and wheels that come on a non sas look kind of goofy in my opinion, though take offs from something else are an easy and cheap solution to that issue.

Take the red eye flight and you could be in 'Amarillo by morning'

Seriously though...the part that caught my eye was 'daily driver'. I went non-Sas for this reason and I am happy with that choice. You can easily upgrade to 33" tires for about $1200 and the 4.46 gearing is perfect for that setup. You'll still have great offroading capability and if that only represents a small part of usage, it might not be worth the extra $$$.

The one thing I have wished I had a few times is the automatic transfer case, which would be nice for wet weather driving when you are kinda in between using 2H and 4H

In your situation wanting the manual trans, you would be paying for the automatic with the Sas package and giving away $2K. I think the Sas package is a good deal with the 4.7 gears, beefed up axles, lockers, suspension, etc. but it used to be around $6K before they forced the automatic into the package which jumped it up to $8K. You can still order it with the manual if you want. I don't think it changes anything with the towing capacity, mine tows great but I have the V6.

I test drove a 4-door Badlands Sasquatch, and found that the suspension, handling, and ride were very agreeable. I instantly liked it. By comparison the Big Bend non-Squatch I test drove didn't seem as solid.

While I chose to not get the Sasquatch option (it's a poor deal on a Badlands), I'd have no problem with a Bronco Sasquatch as a daily driver.

Some guys have brought up some good points, and to get in line with Sierra, I'll throw this out.

Base with Sas: $51,645
Badlands: $51,975

A non-sas Badlands gives you all the beefed up components that Sas offers, lockers, advanced trans, gearing (manual). You lose the 35s (get 33's instead), and lose a half inch of lift, and some misc items like wider flares. However with the Badlands you gain stuff like washout floors/seats and signature headlights, a couple of pieces of body armor, metal bumpers, aux switches, fog lights.
So if you are leaning towards the Sasquatch package, I'd seriously consider the difference between a non-Sas Badlands and the Base.
