I watched a video where a guy took a socket, removed two bolts and the lower section of the rear seats came out (allowing them to have more space (filpped up chair wasn't in the way). Seems like it would be easy enough to get some wingnut or other hand fastening bolts for the seat lowers to make this an easy option. I've done a bit of google searching but haven't came across any yet... anyone making them?

I wonder what's the chance the knobs they sell for quick release on the hardtop bolts would fit.
Can't think of off the top of my head if there's for sure enough room for them, but would be easy enough to pull a couple of bolts and see if it might work.

Temporary and easy removal of the rear seats sounds like a great idea! Following…

Well I just went and glanced at mine and it doesn't look like the rock works knobs will work. At least not without damaging the bottom side of the seat.

I’d imagine that holding the rear seats to the floor would be a torque spec bolt. I’d be concerned the hand tightened knobs wouldnt be enough to hold it in a crash scenario 😬

I can't imagine it would need that much torque, the upright portion for sure, but the lower part I would imagine is minimal.
