2.7 exhaust upgrades?

This is my favorite sounding 2.7 exhaust. Very deep and diesel like sound.

I like the Borla S line. Not in all cars, but in six or eight cylinders I tend to like them.

V6 in general sound like farm implements IMO. My 2.7l F150 is no different. I would be surprised if a cold air intake and cat back exhaust system adds much without a change to the tune to match the characteristics of the intake or exhaust. Today's engines are pretty tightly designed/optimized from intake to exhaust tip. Not like the old days where emissions equipment was added on and very restrictive or performance robbing (anyone remember air pumps?). That being said, I would be interested in aftermarket options if they sound cool!

I've got an MBRP cat- back exhaust on my 2.3 ecoboost mustang and absolutely LOVE it .. .it's one of the first things I'll be doing to the Bronco as soon as it's available

I don't want to make the Bronco any louder inside than I'm guessing it will already be. But... this sounds much better than I thought a V6 turbo could sound.

Not bad...would love to hear it at higher revs. I would like my exhaust to sound almost like a Mustang GT but the 6's seem to always have that "foreign car lawnmower" sound at higher revs. Prove me wrong.

No Offense to anyone who has a 2.3 Mustang, but driving home today from our cottage a newer tuner 2.3 Mustang went buy with a loud exhaust. First, it did not seem very fast (driving like an idiot), second, the sound was horrible. Loud, but horrible. I can’t see doing an exhaust on the Bronco 2.7 or 2.3 and the sound matching the look. Just my opinion. Makes the 2.7 choice almost a lock for me. Stock it will make as much HP and more torque then a tuned 2.3 and I have at least 50HP (probably more) before and exhaust mod need to be part of the tune if I go for more.

i think he has another vid where I heard it at higher revs. ? I hope stock is quiet.

It’s only an issue if they can prove that a mod caused a failure. Exhaust is pretty safe.

Nope. Now that you mention it, there is that baby Mack sound. That is not a bad thing though.

disagree. It's a huge turnoff for me. diesels sound and smell horrible
