I don't only buy new, in fact I prefer used... BUT with how modern engines are engineered to be so high strung with smaller displacements I am worried about their longevity with people not following proper up keep.
I like cars off lease, that had dealer maintenance for each interval. Usually great deals, and you can get most of them certified for an extra warranty.

Why change the oil? You don't change the gas at each fill-up!

When will this misinformation stop. Time and time again Avocado Oil has been proven better for high heat applications. I only use Purple Avocado
No, No and NO. Castrol Bean Oil. It doubles as an aftershave.

I started using left over peanut oil from the turkey fryer, smells way better.

that’s what I got out of this. 🤣
Exactly. And note that the turbo had been removed. It was still good after 100K and only a handful of oil changes. He doesn't see a lot of these engines to tear apart because they are super popular and are genuinely decent engines. When I got my Bronco last year I only knew that the 2.3L four safely developed a lot more power than the Pentastar I last had. Little did I know that this little Ecoboost led me more on a quest for power and efficiency over off-road chops.
