Mine is 2.3L auto Sasquatch and is like yours. P/N to R, P/N to D are clunky but ok, P to D is the strongest clunk. Shiftings are mostly ok, but the down shift to 1st can by clunky, I need to manage the way I brake to avoid a thrust right before the Bronco stops.
Hi there! Would you send us a private message with your VIN and dealership name and location? I’d like to look into this concern on my end.

The only time I get a clunk coming out of P is immediately after a cold start. If I wait 30 seconds after starting before going into R or D its smooth. A harsh downshift is sometimes noticed during heavy braking coming to a stop. I attribute this to getting into low quickly to engine brake, it only happens when making a quick stop which I try to avoid. The only other times I notice harsh shifting is if I modulate the throttle confusing the transmission. Overall shifting is smooth and virtually un-noticable.

My 2025 OBX does the same. 4000 miles. Rough idle sometimes, gets better the longer you drive it. It’s always worst at a stop in drive, in park the RPMs go up slightly and the shake/rumble stops.

Always the clunk from 2nd to 1st, it seems to be less noticeable in ECO mode. I’m coming from a 2018 Titan and it had the same rough shifting and got a new trans at 80k.

Thinking about taking it in but not sure what they’ll do.
