Where a model has a range of engine options, the smaller engines usually are the best seller.
Most people are "a car is point a to point b transportation only" people. Hence the popularity of all the little matchbox corollas, sentras, smart cars and all the other disposable little hamster-powered vehicles on the road.

If you're getting into a bronco I guess I just assume that you're eager for a lifted vehicle, 35s and some power to do shit.

This even holds true for mustangs, challenges, Camaros, BMWs, etc.

Come on, some of those are now called "hot hatches", and the kids wax and shine them to the same extent we did with Chevelle's and Camaro's, kinda a modern day El Camino.

If you follow all the best mechanics on facebook and youtube: this is the advice: ALL ford 4cyl ecoboosts will fail, just out of warranty--DO NOT BUY! The 2.7 is one of the 3 best Ford engines available. (5.0 V8) (6.7 Powerstroke) (2.7 Eco Boost)

Way more fun to drive a manual, especially off-road! So much more control.

But that's just my $0.02. Your mileage may vary!

Definitely hands down get the 2.7 twin turbo , and if you'd like a manual get the 2.7 twin turbo and pray one day they'll attach a better transmission tremec to the 2.7

So I drove the new 2023 badlands today it had a huge air leak behind the passenger door is this a known problem is it a easy fix i really think I will buy it but can't stand that wind noise. Funny I started out wanting a big bend but moved on to a badlands, I wished it had a manual tranny.

Surprisingly, the dealer I went to really only has 2.7L in stock with automatic transmissions. Here at least (Bay Area CA), that is the biggest seller. I had to special order my 2.3L manual and out of probably 20-30 Broncos on their lot, they only had one 2.3L manual to test drive.

Absolutely!! In my younger days, I built up a 68 Camero 327cu and it was pretty darned fast and it had a manual trans (muncie transmission with Hurst linkage). From then on, my next three cars were all manual transmissions. Auto trans may be faster, but from a driving experience, they are boring. So, when it came time for me to buy a fun ride, I ordered a Bronco with the 2.3L and it is way more fun to drive than the auto.

I have the 2.3. Love it. Noticeably power increase on 93 octane. Nothing wrong with more power. However with all the gadgets, phasers, hoses, and turbos on these things, I think the 2.7 will be much more expensive to repair if kept long enough.
Do you really notice a power difference between 87 and 93 octane. I need to know if its worth it or not
