12" touch screen - how to remove side tile area?

Received my 2022 last weekend. Can anyone tell me how to get rid of the small section of the touch screen on the right side? Thanks!

Isn’t that suppose to go away with the ota update? Or is that only for car play?

Only way I know off is on the Nav there is a little symbol bottom right off the map. Tap that and it expands the map closing the tile. Once you get the full screen CarPlay update you can go full screen with no tile while the phone iS connected.

What about engaging calm screen? I haven't tried it on the 12inch, but on the dash cluster screen, the "calm" mode gets rid of the side tile and "opens up" to a full screen.

On the very bottom right there is a button to make that go away.

When in Navigation, there's a button on the bottom right that expands the screen.

Only works to expand the Ford nav to full screen though. I'm usually running Android Auto / Google Maps, and cannot remove the right side tile, so I have to settle for showing other mostly useless information there.

Thank you everyone for the info. The tile will go away with Nav but not in Android Auto.

Full screen CarPlay is coming, not sure about Android Auto. I usually keep it split between Maps and Audio, occasionally switching the right to Pitch and Roll because the classic Bronco is cool.
