Release v1.3.2

• Fixed issues with distance and pressure units not matching those set in FordPass app settings (Only refreshes when values are missing and every 5 minutes).
• Fixed vehicle image when multiple versions of the script are selected.
• Fixed the status message left offset when there were any messages.
• Fixed some unhandled variables errors.
• Updated the WebView titles to remind users that their personal info (VIN, address, position, etc) has been scrubbed from the data they are viewing.

I almost have an installer tool working which means no more copying the script anymore.
You will install a single script FordWidgetTool and it will install and update to the latest version on every run.

I hope to have it ready for testing by the end of the day today.

NEW Releases:

Fordpass Widget (v1.4.0)

• Fixed local vehicle data file to support multiple instances.
• Fixed data scrubber to scrub out relevantVin keys.
• Removed the low oil life warning for now.
• Menu optimization to reduce the number of menu items. Lock and remote start are now submenus and they are officially only shown to supported vehicles.
• Added Horn/Lights control to the main menu for supported vehicles.
• Fixed a lot of the text and image alignment in the widget.
• Reworked the small widget to not show text on labels with icons.
• Added door and window status to the small widget.

FordWidgetTool (v1.1.0)

• Supports updating multiple instances and managing the SCRIPT_ID value.
• It's now used to create and remove additional instances of the script.
• It can now remove and clean up all widget instances and their data.

Please note that you will need to run the installer again to update the widget tool.
Once the widget tool is updated it will popup a menu offering to update you existing widgets.

I have yet to download this because I am just about to switch to a new phone but would it be possible to add a display of the interior and exterior temperatures?

I cannot get this thing working. the new installer thing is nifty and very helpful.. the new log is useful too and tells me "Incorrect Login Data".

Now... I have the FordPass working totally fine... I can log into that and ford site with these creds. Perhaps there's an issue with the username (email) as I use a plus?? [email protected]

Otherwise pwd stored in 1Password so I know i'm not typing it wrong... I'm not sure what else to check here. Thoughts @tonesto7? Also fwiw, widget displays "alerts are not supported in a widget" if you're sending debug info there.

I've been hard at work on v2.0 with the goal to basically eliminate the need to use the Fordpass App.

Data Request
The more data I have from everyone the more reliable I can make the widget.

Privacy Note:
This will be sent using your default email address which will be visible to me (I will never share or use the email)
If you have iCloud+ on iOS 15 (Settings > iCloud > Hide Email) you can create a random email and send using that email.
The following data will automatically be scrubbed and anonymized from the exported data, VIN, long & lat, address info.

Submitting Data:

1. Install this version of the script over existing: Fordpass Widget.js
2. Tap on the script in Scriptable
3. Widget Settings
4. Advanced Info
5. Send Data to the developer.

This will generate an email and show the window with all the data attached as a JSON file.
Just select your email address and press Send

Coming Soon:

Great timing! I came into this thread to report some issues and I see this great update. After installing the new script, everything is working again! Thank you for all your efforts on this, I’m surprised it hasn’t gotten more traction here on this forum. It’s a very useful tool!

Finally had time to tackle debugging this... and finding how to change my login data in Ford. So the issue WAS with the + in the email. Scriptable and/or this script doesn't work with a PLUS symbol in the username/email field. FWIW heads up @tonesto7. Changed my email to an alias I created w/o the PLUS symbol and it worked fine.
Now she's working fine.

Here’s another video of the latest design.
This is sort of the kitchen sink right now in terms of items displayed.

Items remaining:

• Add runtime remaining to remote start output.
• use OTA info to show when an update is available or pending.
• Add actionable notifications for items like doors still unlocked after a certain time, on low battery offer to remote start, or specific events/errors (like low battery, low oil, OTA updates).
• Tidy up the blue header section so it's not so congested.
• Hopefully have time to develop a conversational Siri shortcut interface.
• More EV charging controls and UIs
