I'm thinking it might be cool to have some sort of molle panels with pouches on the tailgate. Has anybody done or seen something similar that they would recommend?

I did a partial PPF (STEK ppf) plus ceramic coating over everything for about $3500. My installer also recommended that I install this film onto my windshield first to protect against broken windshields, and then he put the ceramic coating over that as well, which I'm really glad he recommended...

That's awesome. Chips always seem to spread, so this should keep that from happening hopefully. Great solution if you live somewhere with just occasional rock chips. For a few bucks, you can just throw a few into each vehicle. I went with film to prevent chips in the first place. Here there...

Did you just have that installed? Because I heard that was pulled off the market about 6 months ago, because it was only lasting a few months.

Lol, no it wouldn't I've been in the area, but don't live there. I think its going to depend a lot on where you drive. The highways there did have a bit of gravel and rocks on them, especially as you're going towards Houston. I'd either change insurance companies or get one of the DIY kits...

I just followed the instructions on their site. My advice would be to have a second person there to hand you stuff, help you pull off the liner, etc. I wouldn't want to do it by myself. It wasn't hard, the basic concept is pretty simple.
