  1. Trying windshield protection film

That's a good idea, can't hurt for us to ask. Although with the price increase for gorilla glass on the wranglers, I'm afraid to guess what it might cost on our broncos.
  2. How many miles before your 1st windshield chip/crack

It went good. I was intimidated by it, but it wasn't as bad as I feared. I'd have a second person there to help hand you stuff.
  3. Trying windshield protection film

I'm at about 6 months now and an still really happy with this film. I'd definitely buy it again.
  4. Any one regret not getting a Raptor?

I'm not disappointed. The raptor is awesome for a purpose, but I'm more comfortable around town. The raptor is definitely the way to go if you want to drive really fast off road. If you don't, it's the wrong choice, IMO.
  5. How many miles before your 1st windshield chip/crack

That is brutal. I was a few thousand and thought that was bad! I put this film on afterwards to avoid that hassle again. https://www.grab-gard.com/products/ford-bronco-windshield-protection-kit
  6. Safelite Windshield Replacement Leads To Worse Damage

That's terrible. Zero deductible windshield replacement isn't available where I live. But I have the grab gard.com protection film on mine to prevent a broken windshield. In a way, it's better than a few windshield, since you avoid the time and hassle and risk of a bad replacement job.
  7. 12/19/2022 build week group

Oh cool, that's the same film, I just had the untinted version. Yeah, I like it. I don't expect it to last forever, but so far it's resistant to wear/scratches and I can't even tell it's there, other than the few times I've had a rock zing hard off the windshield and it didn't break like I'm...
  8. 12/19/2022 build week group

Which film are you putting onto the windshield? This is the one that I put on: https://www.grab-gard.com/products/ford-bronco-windshield-protection-kit
  9. All problems in one photo.

Uf, sorry you're dealing with this. I've only had to deal with the windshield, so I guess I can count myself as lucky, although I had to wait for over a month to get the new one. I put this film onto my windshield so I wouldn't have to deal with that again. I guess all I can do is cross my...
  10. Windshield Replacement

Yeah, I broke mine after only a few thousand miles. Getting it replaced was a pain, took over a month to get an OEM windshield in stock. Meanwhile I was driving around with a massive crack right in my field of view. Luckily it wasn't any worse or I don't know what I would have done. What do you...
  11. Taking top and doors off solo

If you have a roof rack, that makes taking the top off easier, you can get one of those "kayak hoist" type of setups in your garage and just lift it off. Most of us don't have one of those wheeled racks you have in your video.
  12. Area 51 matching shoes!!

Lol, you take the lifestyle further than I do! I just wear my normal shoes.
  13. How many miles before your 1st windshield chip/crack

Wow, you've got me beat. I made it a few thousand miles before mine cracked. It did take me months to get my new windshield, though, hopefully you got your replacement faster than I did. I didn't want to go through that again, so I put this protection film on instead, my detailer recommended...
  14. Why can’t the rear door unlock all the doors?

Every vehicle seems to do it this way. I'm not sure why, I don't really like it.
  15. Windshield wipers are driving me crazy!!!

The annoying thing about these "smart" wipers is I'm not aware of any previous epidemic of windshield wipers failing... I'm only in the snow on occasion. So I'm fortunate to not really need to deal with this issue. I did put the film from www.grab-gard.com into mine, and then put a ceramic...
  16. Paint protection film PPF -- considering XPEL for Bronco Raptor

I think I caught the tail end of a lot of those ads as a kid. I remember a friend got a $200 paint job in the early 2000s, and it was atrocious. But it was better than the "before" and it was an old junker car, so it was a good decision.
  17. Paint protection film PPF -- considering XPEL for Bronco Raptor

I'd love to see the quality of the $125 to $162 paint job you're looking at!
