  1. 2.3L manual trans plus Sport mode...

I think you mean the auto revmatch is optional, not revhang. Auto revmatch = computer matches revs for you when you downshift. Revhang = throttle doesn't close immediately when you take your foot off the pedal and RPMs won't drop quickly which causes issues when trying to upshift quickly.
  2. 2.3L manual trans plus Sport mode...

Revhang is there for emissions reasons, and I doubt sport mode removes it. But I hope it does...
  3. 2.3L manual trans plus Sport mode...

I've driven manual my whole life. I hate even the hill assist on my Mustang. I would never want the car to be doing revmatching for me (but of course, YMMV). So, that it gets removed is a bonus feature of the tune, hah.
  4. Current Ford Credit Financing rates and offers?

Oh thanks, I didn't see that they actually put their rate offers in the calculator. I appreciate this.
  5. Current Ford Credit Financing rates and offers?

I have a Badlands on order that's currently being built and will probably be ready for pickup in a couple weeks, so I was sitting down to figure out the best way to go about the purchase. I see that Edmonds is claiming there is a 2.9%/36, 3.9%/48 4.9%/60 5.9%/72 but I can't find any direct...
  6. Current Ford Credit Financing rates and offers?

How does one find the current Ford financing rates and offers?
  7. Badlands: Why no Sport mode? Any options?

Well, if you have a laptop already, hah. Since starting this thread, I've bought that exact interface and then used FORscan on my F-150 to give it a lot of quality of life improvements like no stupid double honk if you exit the vehicle while it's running and more soft blinker clicks. Those...
  8. Badlands: Why no Sport mode? Any options?

FORscan is software for Windows (and a less capable version for Andoid). It allows you to modify your car's setting over and OBD2 interface that you have to purchase too. Free to look at your cars config and codes, $10 (+ interface device) to get it to make changes.
  9. Break-in questions: offroad considerations?

Yeah, I figure the oil question is that way, but I'm more interested if there is something to do or not do offroad for for a bit, or if everything is g2g after the 1,000mi break in. I never had a brand new offroad vehicle, and I don't know if gears or suspension components need break in time...
  10. Break-in questions: offroad considerations?

I've read conflicting information on various sites as to whether or not you should change the oil on a shorter OCI with a brand new vehicle. I'll be getting a 2.3L Badlands in a few weeks, and would like to make sure I do it right. Should you leave the factory oil in for the normal OCI or...
  11. Badlands: Why no Sport mode? Any options?

Is there any definitive word on how enabling Sport mode on a Badlands via FORScan will affect warranty coverage? The thread you showed me is great, but made me pucker a bit reading all the concerns about warranty.
  12. Badlands: Why no Sport mode? Any options?

So, why does the Badlands not come with a sport GOAT mode? Seems like a strange thing to do when you can have any number of modes programmed into the computer. I get that the Badlands is offroad focused (which is why I bought it and intend to use it that a way), but it's also gunna get a lot of...
  13. Is it possible to own a Bronco without a broken windshield?

I've never owned ANY vehicle that didn't need at least a couple chip repairs. Even cars that aren't rolling bricks, hah.
  14. New Vehicle Paint - How long to fully cure before PPF or other paint treatments?

I'll probably be doing a full body XPEL PPF and/or other paint protection treatments. I have an order and will likely get the vehicle only weeks after paint is done. Do I need to wait longer for the paint to fully cure before that? Or is factory paint cured by then?
  15. Anyone upgraded a Badlands (no SAS)?

Ahh, thanks. So new wheels or take offs would be a must.
  16. Anyone upgraded a Badlands (no SAS)?

I've been shopping for wheels too -- more just pondering. I like the non-SAS wheels. I am getting a manual so sounds like I made the right call and can get the benefits of SAS tires/lifts down the road if I really want it.
  17. Anyone upgraded a Badlands (no SAS)?

Yeah I prefer the non-SAS wheels too -- yours look great!
  18. Anyone upgraded a Badlands (no SAS)?

Yeah, I read there was greater articulation room, which is good because it suits my preferred offroading experience more I think.
  19. Anyone upgraded a Badlands (no SAS)?

That's cool, mine is a manual so that's one less difference. I already planned to swap to SAS flares, hah.
  20. Bronco Shipped...Estimated Delivery Changed to 3+ Months?!?!

My dealership called me today and said my order was going to get scheduled soon, but said there were problems with shipping/railroads right now that would slow things down a bit. He didn't say what, but that's a possible issue with your delay too.
