  1. Will Ford Delete the Base 2.3L engine option?

The trend is going smaller engines… I doubt the 2.3 will get dropped anytime soon. I had an Expedition for a week as a loaner, and the 3.5l 400hp is awesome, but the 10 speed automatic transmission made it less exciting than my 2.3l ProCal tuned with manual. Im so happy I didn’t get auto.
  2. Throttle controller with ford performance tune on manual

Just got the ProCal installed, and it’s very noticeable. Not a burnout machine, but I can finally pass with a bit more confidence.
  3. 4L doesn’t engage

Update 2: picked up after 13 days, just to find out it stuck in the 4L again at the first try. It’s been 28 years since my previous Ford , and this going into the same direction. I had a big hope for the new Bronco and I wish it was more reliable. :(
  4. Uncomfortable front seats! What is the solution?

I’m pretty sure the issue is the headrest. I felt the same, and it improved a lot after pushing the lumber support all the way out. New Bronco should have a 4way headrest, hopefully we can upgrade to it.
  5. 4L doesn’t engage

Update: dealer said the GOAT knob is bad, and hope to find one before the weekend. I think it’s a false diagnosis, but I hope I’m wrong.
  6. 4L doesn’t engage

Update… this morning it’s stuck in L4 - no screen or goat indication. Have to go to a meeting with my trusty 31 years old Miata. Now waiting for a tow truck
  7. Anyone else accidentally turning on headlights?

happened few times. I always check the knob before leaving.
  8. 4L doesn’t engage

I tried the 4L for 30 seconds at the day I picked up, and 4H less than 60 minutes in 10 months. Most trails I’m going are more fun in RWD ha ha. Oh and I don’t have 4A
  9. 4L doesn’t engage

Almost 10k miles, first issue. I’ve noticed during driving on-road 2H (I mostly drive on Sport) I get a pop up on the dash screen- something related to 4WD… it disappears too quick to read while driving. Happened few times the last couple weeks. So I decided to check the transfer case. Depressed...
  10. 2023MY ch-ch-changes: No more cloth! Bash plates removed from lower trims!

Glad I’ve got the cloth, as the vinyl and the leather could be awful without seat cooling/ heating when parking outside. This will be unnecessary too expensive option.
  11. Would you buy a Manual Bronco now?

I assume the leather version is a bit better than the plastic one that feels like a sandpaper. I hope someone will make a stainless steel knob sometime soon.
  12. Would you buy a Manual Bronco now?

Wouldn’t buy a Bronco with an automatic transmission. 5100 miles now and I’m very happy. Upgrades? I don’t like the shift knob, and the shifter rod could be a bit stiffer. 1st and 2nd could be a little longer.
  13. Should I worry about carbon buildup on 2.3?

just follow the maintenance schedule, use Premium gas, and synthetic oil every 5k. At least that’s what I’m doing. 2 doors Manual, 5100 miles
  14. Ford Performance Calibration Tune for 2.3L Bronco's AVAILABLE NOW! - Lethal Performance

Anyone got any information about future CARB for the MY2022 in CA? I hope Ford didn’t throw us under the bus, we already paying so much for everything…. I only want a bit more power.
