In an effort to get this thread back on track, I received my estimate to replace the rear section of the hard top which came to $4,703 with tax. I called customer care and they said there is financial assistance available for the repair but they can’t tell me what it would be as everything is...
Do you have the PremiumCare warranty from Ford or completely aftermarket? If you got them to cover under PremiumCare then I’ll take mine in for sure then.
$12k? You can order through Ford Performance for $5,500 and they ship to the dealer free if you pay the extra $350 install fee. Still very expensive it not anywhere near those quotes.
I think they also changed to SoundScreen for OEM as I now see that on the glass for the 2025’s. If you could get one of those, it might provide some improvement on dampening.
I’m the complete opposite. I’ve never lost money. Partly because I am very attentive to things that no longer function or noises and I’m guessing most of customers that buy the warranty, not referring to you, rather deal with an issue than the hassle of going in for service or they don’t realize...

Has anyone...
If anyone with a black painted hardtop is looking to trade in their Bronco, where you switching to a MIC would not have any impact on your trade amount, please let me know. I’d be willing to also pay some cash for anyone that would be willing to swap with me.
I am also willing to consider a...
Thanks for the input everyone. I will research the module update to see if it’s been done before or not. If not, good to know others have the same experience.
I’m at 35k on my FE. Recently, only in 4A, there is a distinct humming/vibration when I cruise and use light throttle around 37-39mph and 57-59mph. What I also noticed is right at 40 and 60 the power gauge shows power goes solely to the rear wheels and the noise goes away. So to me I’m thinking...
I had a HE for a loaner recently and it does that. Also does it when you use the remote to unlock as you approach. Wish that could be programmed on my FE that way.
