There are a couple different aftermarket solutions to put a usb port up there for non lux trucks. IMO its worth it, best location for your phone. It’s line of sight, easy to reach, and doesn’t block anything unless you need the trail switches.

It's been three years since I've been to Moab. My wife and I are talking about a western trip this spring, this sound great! I'll keep an eye on this thread and I'm looking into places to stay right now.

It's a FuelZero 50ah battery, which lasts like a 100ah marine. It will hold a full charge for months, really impressed by it.

The charge pad is useless for all the reasons listed in this (overly long, are you listening @Ford Motor Company ?) thread. Use a charge cord, or if you have a MagSafe compatible phone, do yourself a favor and get some kind of charging puck solution. I did.
