@NewToBronco You'll have a blast. I'm so ready to get my Bronco. I'm sold on revisiting the area with my Bronco some day for some off roading. The instruction and wheel time provided at Off-Roadeo was immeasurable for a newbie like me...
Exactly! I ordered an AMB, 4 Dr, Black Diamond, 2.7L, MidPackage, Sasquatch, with Modular Bumper. All that still available on the MY22 BlackDiamond? Nope, at least not AMB and not 100% sure about the bumper. So what am i supposed to order for MY22 if what I wanted in MY21 is no longer...
This. ☝
Exactly what we were told at Off Roadeo this past weekend. If you have trail assist use that. Put it in 4L and set it at 1.5 or 2.0 MPH. One pedal is more for steep climbs not downhill.
Unfortunately, I didn't get a chance to test out the one pedal feature this weekend so I didn't mention it. But can't wait to try it out once i take delivery of my MY22 Bronco....
I used trail turn assist on the Las Vegas Off Rodeo course this past weekend. Made near a 135 degree pivot. There were a few infront of me that didn't make it because they cut the turn too soon or too shallow. So some of it is relying on a spotter (if you have one and i did) and knowing when to...
Yes, I believe they did. One of the guides said the goal was to have a place where Bronco Owners and Enthusiasts can come and learn more about the Bronco and preserving the outdoors for future generations. At its current price, I'd say its a high value for what you get. I would even pay a little...
@Bdockins I drove the 4 door badlands, it had the Sasquatch package and the 2.7L engine. Just the basic package, no upgrades. We didn't get to drive at highway speeds so I can't tell you much about the 2.7L. For me the 8" screen is plenty big enough. The marine grade vinyl is soft to the touch...
My Nevada Off-Roadeo Impressions. I will preface this post by saying I am a beginner to off road driving. Other than gravel roads in a Jeep Wrangler rental for 2 weeks, that's about the extent of my experience.
The Bronco, is bad ass, period. Unfortunately, with no real off road experience in a...
Yes, yes, yes. Being a newbie to off roading I went to the Bronco off roadeo in Nevada this weekend not knowing what I know now. Seeing and experiencing what this beast is capable of this weekend, it would be a travesty NOT taking into the wild!
I believe the person that took us out was Robert, not too sure. That's great about getting all the looks. I was too focused on the drive to look around much...30 minutes went by way too fast. Jokingly, I tried talking Alison in letting me have for the weekend but she was having non of those...
@BTomorama I'm sure some of it had to do with me being unfamiliar with how much pressure was needed to get her moving. Im use to driving a small sedan so it'll take some getting use to...I will say that it does cruise well. I was going 65-70 on highway 61 and 92 and didn't feel like it. That'll...
@DREWR13 agree. No disrespect to the 2.3L, but when i hit the gas pedal i want an immediate response. The 2.3 wasn't doing it for me today. Will love to hear about your Moab Off-Roadeo experience. Hopefully we can all get together in a year or two and head out there as a group with our own...
@Hobgoblin Thanks. I was wanting Moab but trying to get it in on a weekend was impossible. The Vegas site has similarities to Moab and easier to get to via ATL. Feel free to reach out after next week if you have any questions about the off rodeo...👍
Test Drive!! Had my first opportunity to test drive a Badlands Bronco at Hardy Ford this morning. They are providing 30 minute test drives for current order holders at the dealership. It was a 2.3L, nonSas, and had no upgraded packages.
My impressions. First, the 8" screen is big enough for...
Awesome to hear. All the photos I am seeing from peoples reports, the tops are up! Thought maybe there was a rule about having them down. Good to know...thanks.
