You betcha. Assuming I get mine by summer...I'll probably enjoy a break-in period of just having the doors off, top down open road freedom here in the South for a few months before doin any nearby off road trails.
Most likely not for me. I'm just 486 days in waiting since reserving and there are over 20+ in front of me at my dealership. Plus I have MIC, 2.7L and Tow on my build. My hope is that I am a March or April build so I can have it for the summer!
@Gene Dios oh a contractor definitely. I'm getting quotes now. Hope to have it done by next summer. Looking at a 16x25 with small second story for storage...
@GABroncin I bet. I already have my list and I'll be doin the same when mine is just a couple months away. But first I'm building a detached, third car garage. Can't have my new toy parked outside. 😆
@ATLUTDFAN oh it wasn't a two door, sorry. There were 2, four door FEs parked nose to tail. One of them was a lightning blue, can't remember what the other one was...maybe an Area 51. Thanks for the link.
I was there. It was great seeing the early Broncos as well as the new ones. I didn't ask around but I'd love to know who drove the 2 First Editions (one was Lightning Blue) that were parked over by Cheesecake Factory. I liked the FE Badged wheel covers and would seriously consider doing that for...
@doink thanks I will. I assume they also install lights, bumpers...right? I'd like to try doing the modificarions myself but if its too complex I'd rather leave it to the experts...
@Gene Dios thanks. What I'll be looking for soon after I get my Bronco is lights. Depending on the level of complexity, also have them installed. (Bumper fog kit and light bar). So for now I'm not looking for any Bronco specific gear, just a local store with a good selection and the expertise to...
For those in Metro Atlanta, where do you shop for your off-road parts? I have an 4WP and ORW near me here in Kennesaw. Any thoughts on those stores? Are there any others? Any suggestions? For somethings like lights/bumpers/wheels, I'd perfer to see them in person before I buy them rather than...
I saw my first lightning blue FE yesterday in Marietta, Ga. Still have yet to see a 2 door out in the wild. But sightings are becoming a little more frequent here in metro ATL for sure.
Thanks for the information. Wasn't aware that there was a Georgia Bronco group outside of this forum. Will definitely consider becoming a member. Hoelwever, I think I will wait till I take ownership of my own Bronco later next year. But definitely planning on being at Caffeine and Octane Sunday...
