I have the Draw-Tite extended hitch mentioned by OP. Obviously there is a potential issue with departure angle, but... I don't find there to be a big problem with walking/working around the back with the swing gate open. The advantages are a couple -- (1) the extended receiver allows for more...
I live in a pretty big metro area in Florida with over 3 million people. I've seen a total of maybe five or six Broncos. The other day I came out from dinner and there was a crowd of people around my Bronco. Maybe they are common in some areas, but not here--not even close yet.
I agree with the folks here. I think it is possible with enough work and research and a lot of luck (or good connections) to find one at a dealer at MSRP without placing an order. Like the proverbial sasquatch, I have never seen one, but lots of people swear it exists.
Although I would think...
Personally, I would recommend this. My service notes state that the error codes were confirmed. They cleared the codes and tested everything. If this problem re-surfaces at least I have a record of when it started -- with just 60 miles.
Hopefully neither of us will ever have to think about...
Drove this exact set-up -- BB with no lockers and no squatch -- at a Ford Off-Road Drive Event. I was really impressed with what this set-up could do. It was very capable and did way more than I would have felt comfortable doing in my own truck!
I had the same type of problem. With 61 miles (on the interstate on the way home), I got the Service Engine Soon along with the Reduced Power messages. Definitely was doggy at highway speeds. When I turned the car off at home the service light went out and never came back, but I took it in...
Congrats to the OP, but this kind of stuff really makes you wonder what is going on...
I think reservation holders have a right to be angry when they see their same builds being delivered to newer customers. At first I questioned why stopping taking new orders would speed up production of...
I agree it was an odd choice in many ways, but they are trying to build a brand of off-road/overland/outdoor adventure themed vehicles--which is a good thing.
While the Bronco purists from forums like this may not like it, I think Ford is really happy with all the positive attention that the...
Well, different chip supplier? Different supply chain? Less than crushing demand for Jeeps right now? All manufacturers are claiming some type of chip shortages.
That's fair. An overstatement on my part. But if you read all these forums, the number of "how do I disable start/stop" threads gets to be overwhelming at times. LOL.
Cool. Well, that part would be a win/win for a lot of folks! ;) If the chips in question are such minor things it is much less of a big deal. We will see.
Do you know this for sure? Many folks would like pay extra to delete this feature and we are always told -- it is required by federal law, etc. This would be a feature, not a bug.
I went to one in Florida. Well worth a 4 hour round trip. Got nearly an hour in a Bronco like the one I have on order. An instructor drives with you and teaches you things about the truck consistent with your skill level. Highly recommended!
I was impressed at just how much a Big Bend would...
