Any of you running the Bestop Bimini underneath the Trektop?
Have a few questions about the front of the Bimini - specifically the 2 metal hooks in the middle connecting near the windshield and the snaps on the sides.
The Trektop latches use the same spot/hooks as the Bimini snaps - so the...
Thanks for the response - will check that out today.
Another question - took out the windows yesterday and went safari mode which was a blast. Have heard they scratch very easily - how are you guys storing these plastic windows when not in use? Does Bestop or someone else make a non scratch...
Had the same issue with mine after installing last week. Couldnāt get passenger side open. Everything so tight.
Left in the sun for a few hours and it eventually opened. As others have mentioned, pull down hard on the plastic area just to the left of the latch - there is an indentation where...
Thx for posting.
I reached out to Hooke Road about 2 months ago and they specifically told me this does not work for a 2 door Bronco. Hmm.
Still hoping for some sort of vertical storage solution.
Also very interested in this. There is nothing out there for storing the back half (with the 3 windows) Hard Top for 2 door Broncos.
Hooke Road advertises that is does but not for the 2 door Hard Top.
Pretty sure thatās a . . .
M6 X 1.0 X 15MM
Part #533.61 from Bestop
Uses a T-30 Torx bit
Just finished installing my Bestop Trektop and thatās what that one looks like for the control arm.
While weāre on the subject - would have been nice for Bestop to include some extra screws. Lost a...
Mentioned in a previous post in this thread. Drove 1.5 hrs on Highway @70ish mph.
Had a 10ā surf caster in one holder. Secured the reel to the holder with a small 6ā bungee cord.
To answer your question - extremely confident. No issues at all with damaging the reel, pole or the Bronco.
I drove 1.5 hrs to Montauk - 90% highway @70ish mph.
Secured each fishing pole with small bungees (6ā with plastic/rubber hooks instead of metal. Wrapped the reels to the holders. No issues - both poles didnāt move.
Doors & front 2 panels of MIC Hard Top are easy - come with supplied bags.
How are you storing the back half of the Hardtop? Assuming you donāt want to pay 1k for TopLift or have the clearance in the garage for a hoist.
Excited to put on the Bestop Trektop today.
For those who have had this on for a while - any issues running this through a brushless car wash? How is it holding up with a brushless hand wash?
