I am wondering if anyone has had success installing this kit after having the JKS Max Clearance kit installed. The front bracket for the JKS kit, causes the intercooler mount to drop roughly 1/8 or maybe more, lower than it was before. The 2 slotted brackets that attach to that for the bumper...
We pay 7% tax on vehicle purchases out the door, one time only. Then 27.00 per year in tag fees. Are you talking about sales tax for a new purchase, or is this an annual communist tax you are paying somewhere?
Anything is possible. But I get the impression that they are either phasing it out or redesigning something. My kit that came in, was dated somewhere around 2 years previous on the manufacturing date.
I would have taken advantage of the install price as well. I have the capable bumper, so they won’t touch it. So I’m going to get the cutting wheel and go to town to make it work with that
I should revisit this comment. Stickerfab took great care of me and got me refunded. I ordered the “UFO” looking light that is shown previously in this thread and it has been working perfectly for me for the past few months. Large amount of light.
#947000011 is the part #. They do not have it on their website. It is a kit component for some of their bumpers. I had to call I. To customer service and give them that part number. I believe they were 20.00 each, bought 2
Are you talking about mounts “rings that hold the sensor” or the extension wire harnesses? I purchased more mount rings from Metal Cloak, just in case I need them and they appear to be OEM size. Have a 3 day weekend up next weekend and hope to finally get this install done.
Was curious which dealer actually agreed to do it in Atlanta. For future reference though, if you have any future ford performance needs, I.E. tune etc. I’ve heard that Akins Ford in Winder will do most anything. Wild Willie’s customs is their onsite custom shop and they do more bronco builds...
coilovers being installed right now. Told them to max it out and level it with the Eibach 2.0 kit. Might install my winch tomorrow and let the sag it creates, be the rake I run it with. Using the heavy springs up front, so probably not much sag.
How long did it take you? Debating starting mine tonight or tomorrow am. Going to be drilling the sensor holes and already have sensor extensions ready to go.
Interesting thought. I’m curious if there are any real structural engineers in here, that can weigh in. Mine is sitting in the garage, waiting for me to get off my butt and do this exact thing. Cobalt step bit and carbide hole saw are both sitting on top of the box.
Not an engineer, officially. But I have “posed” as one for 25 years in the construction industry. This item is not structural, to any extent of consideration, for a 70lb static load. It’s 3/16 steel plating and you’re drilling 2, 1” holes.
I’ve had mine installed a a little over a month. Tonight, the first issue with it. It will not turn off. It will drain my battery, unless I disconnect it from my fuse panel. Not impressed
