This is a very compelling option, as it has everything I want plus more at close to the price I want it for, I am not really interested in used but at only 200 miles on the Odometer, I can live that. Looks like the Ford warranty is still intact but I am a little uncomfortable buying from a used...
Thanks Rose, I might take you up on that offer sometime in the next year as I only know of one place that I can off road and I would like to learn of more spots.
I also checked out JK Ford because if I cannot find the Bronco equipped the way I want, I may order one and I am hoping they will...
That's what I thought, I got a Ford Fusion Titanium with AWD and I can't tell you how useful an Auto 4 mode has been for my commute over the years. I don't think I want to go without that in my Bronco now.
Yeah, major dilemma thanks to the Bilstein shock recall removing the perfectly equipped Bronco I wanted at a price I liked, now I have to hope it will still be available months from now and the dealership will not try to rip me off as according to them 5 people are interested in it.
Since last...
Thanks man, I will be watching the market and see how things settle out. Since last night I am starting to think I may just regret not getting the 4A mode available only on the SAS Package or on the Badlands Trim, shocks can be upgraded and even a front locker installed but adding the 4A system...
That's good to hear, I will probably stick with 33's as I am not going to rock crawl and I will spend a lot of time on road, I am sure the 33's can handle the light to moderate off roading around here. I may check out the Wildtrak and see if they have any floating around.
I am getting a little hung up thinking about losing the 4A mode on the Bronco, I thought I could leave the Bronco in 4H but reading around here last night the 4WD system isn't really designed for that. I wouldn't mind a Black Diamond if it has the SAS and Mid Package but finding a 2 door with...
I still have some options locally for Badlands but they're all tied up waiting on the Bilstein Shock Recall or the dealers are asking outrageous prices for them even after sitting for a year, one that's 25 miles away is asking a full $57,000 on it, they didn't budge on the price at all. Another...
Reading around here, I get the impression the Hitachi suspension is the least desirable and many swapped to the Bilstien setup even with the failures.
TBH, I think for the kind of off roading in this part of the country (not rock crawling) I can probably live without the front lockers. With the...
That was my original plan, I felt the non SAS Badlands was enough for me but getting it at a price I wanted with the 2.7L and the mid package, with the recall on the shocks is really hurting my options, especially wanting a 2 door.
I would also consider a Black Diamond with those options but...
Yeah the idea of a lower end Badlands still sounds nice, especially for the prices they’re still asking on Badlands. I am still up in the air if I need the 2.0 suspension system and the M210 front end with locker for my needs, even after going through all this info.
This helps clear it up a bit, thanks, I wasn’t even aware of this steering upgrade kit. I have been reading about the Bronco for months, it’s a lot of info to absorb.
So does the Badlands even have one of those HOSS suspensions? I am a little confused. Or is it the Hitachi suspension that from what I am reading here, people seem to upgrade out of?
