The guy in that video I linked above is into overlanding. That's why he advocates making front and rear travel more equal, by increasing the travel length of the front shocks, and by adding a rear swaybar that's extra-firm.
These two steps can get the front travel close to the rear travel...
I guess that's the thing. Everybody has different preferences. Now that you mention the back seats, I would like to have both, depending on whether the back seats are up or down.
