    Yes, I think you're correct. As I understand it, a three digit number in the tear tag means being built, and four means it's built.

    Yes. That's the place for the module data. You can install the ford app, or just open it with a text editor after you download. There's also the order app thing here that someone created which pulls *all* the things together in one place. I don't think I have anything that would go to another...

    From what I've read on this forum...if at all, you'd likely get the build photo a week or so after you take delivery.

    From what I've read here, you'd get that picture a week after you take delivery. I've also seen a fair number of people report they got an email from Ford saying something went wrong and there is no pic.

    This "backdoor" tracker isn't posted anywhere official, hence the name. It only works if you paid $100 on ford.com for a reservation while that was an option. If you walked into a dealership and ordered, they don't link anything to your account and you will rely on the dealership for updates...

    For what it's worth, I got my build date over a month before I got a VIN. So, even if they once did, they don't necessarily go hand in hand any more.

    Ford's wording said reservation or order. So, if you had a reservation on ford.com where you paid the $100 before 3/19/21, that should count too.

    As far as I know, they honor your price protection with a voucher for the difference via the dealer. There are many threads on this, but there seems to be a lot of dealership confusion.

    Without having a paid reservation on ford.com. Folks who walked into a dealer with no reservation and ordered can only call/chat Ford or call their dealer. That's pretty much it.
