Something I've been thinking about, if you've got three identical Broncos sitting on the line, and you only have chips for one, which Bronco gets them? I had a 4/25 build date and several forum members are still waiting on their vehicles on dirt mountian, and mine, a priority 10, sailed through...
My May 22 build was sealed in March 22. It looks a lot nicer than the ones in these pics you've all posted. Here's to hoping it holds up and they've improved quality. I'm not too worried, with the known issues and a warranty I feel like I can get them to replace it if necessary. I bought an...
My Ford account always showed the original order date of March 17 2021, even after I re-ordered in October. Ford even continued to reference the original 4 digit order number even though the dealer gave me a new one in October.
I ordered March 17 2021. And re-ordered Oct 16 2021. My dealer honored the MSRP at the time of re-order and subtracted the 2021 price protection cert from the sale price. Probably the best possible scenario. I have seen others post that their dealer would send them the check later.
I've had my OBX Bronco for two weeks. I previously drove a Wrangler for the past 25 years. I love it and have no regrets on the change. No hate for the Wrangler though either. Just wanted a change.
The first day I got my Bronco I drove it around for an hour and got a headache and nauseous from the smell. I know because 20 minutes after I was out the sickness faded. After a couple days it didn't make me sick and after a week it was tolerable.
I figure, this thing came fresh off the train...
I was fine every time and was travelling alone. A couple of the occupants of the other cars had some minor injuries. This was a 4 door Wrangler and an anecdotal sample size of one. So take it for what it's worth.
Until two weeks ago, I drove a Wrangler for 25 years. I was in a handful of accidents. Every time, the Jeep was pretty much fine, the sedans and mini vans that were involved were not. I have three children and they will be riding in the Bronco. (and for the record, I found special car seats so...
My dealer just wrote up the sale for the original MSRP at time of order (March/Oct 21) and then subtracted the price protection cert. IMO that's the easiest way they can handle it, but they have to float the cert refund and the MY22.5 difference on their books until reimbursed by Ford. So, if...
Reserved July 2020. Ordered March 17 and Oct 16.
I picked up my OBX last week. My dealer honored the MSRP at the time of order minus the $250 OBX MY21 cert. That seems to be the way it ought to work. I've seen lots of pretty bad stories on here though. Glad it worked out for you.
It seems like most mods populated about 2 days after blend. I was 4/27 and mine did. I also had navigation. I bought mine last week. Sorry, not sure what's going on. It stinks that Ford doesn't communicate better.
I was using that order.app thing and it appeared that when the train got to the unloading site the vehicle status changed to "paired". Once it was at the dealer it said delivered. Not 100%, but that status did change.
It has been a long wait, but finally! A couple things the dealer has to fix, but overall pretty smooth. It's a blast to drive and pretty much everyone stares as you go by.
As I understand it, there are no rebate certs for MY 22.5. It's up to the dealer to honor the price at time of order and then apply the MY21 price protection cert. That is what I read here, and that is what my dealer did. Who can say any more.
My OBX shipped with this new bracket so the plate isn't directly on the grill. It does still take two screws to mount, but I actually don't mind it so when it arrived I told them to put it on. Many of the ones I've seen had the plate bolted right onto the grill and it was so ugly.
