Well Iām considering Jeeps and maybe swapping to MY22 reservation. We will see. Might get a cheapo used Jeep to knock around this spring/summer/fall and see what shakes out on the Broncos. I like the white but would love to see the green.
Does anyone in this thread have dealer recommendations? Iām reserved with LaFayette Ford in Fayetteville, NC. They want $1,000 non-refundable and I think offering msrp, but I havenāt gone in to talk pricing. Anyone know of a $500-or-less dealer or one offering invoice pricing? Iām a day 1...
How am I just now realizing this is in Fayetteville, NC? Iām having doubts and weird divorce-related financial issues. But I have a 13-Jul resize and Iām really wanting to treat myself...
Iām almost mad. Such an easy decision to go to 2.7 haha. I just did the ranger/f-150 engine comparison test drive.
But for me to get 2.7 Iād have to lose manual transmission. Sad. Then Iād have to squatch my BL, which I donāt want to do, just to get the 4.7 gearing for a future tire size increase š
šexactly. Maybe Ford does a recall and Chevy sticks with their ācould not replicate the issueā standard line from dealers. No matter that Iāve pumped a half million dollars of rolling steel through their lot and have five kids which will NOT be driving GM now.
Yeah, well GM hasnāt done a recall on my POS 2017 Silverado 1500 transmission with hard shifting issues. And there is a class action on that. So Iāll give Ford the benefit of the doubt and appreciate that they execute recalls when appropriate instead of ignoring the issue and screwing customers.
Mine came out to $60k with absolutely everything Iād want on it - including sky one touch, heated steering wheel and Alpine premium audio. Wow. Then the $7,500 tax credit, bringing it in-line with my Badlands build without heated steering wheel and premium sound system.
I test drove the ranger in 2.3 and an f-150 in 2.7 and I want the manual... so will put the extra auto/2.7 money into options/packages.
But.... that 2.7 was nice. Very nice. I almost feel like Iāll have to do a tune on the 2.3, though it wasnāt bad. Hope Ford comes out with one quickly so I can...
Iām with you. Though I was very impressed with the 2.7, I want the manual. I do plan on 37ā tires in a couple years because I like the clearance. But mostly because I think the 37ā rubber is the ideal look on the 4-dr bronco. Of course it remains to be seen how feasible that will be on the...
I havenāt driven many MTs, and am pretty set on going with the 2.3L MT for fun. But man, test drove the 2.7 in an f-150 and it was NICE... this coming from a 5.3L v-8 Chevy guy
This forum had me convinced I should stick with manual and just take the 2.3L. I drove the ranger and f-150 today and I will say the 2.7 was pretty damn cool. Someone tell me again the 2.3 will be alright, especially if I end up with 37ā rubber.
I also test drove the Rubicon ecodiesel. Very...
