Well I did it. No issues. A few bolts were harder to crack. A few were more difficult to screw back in but it all worked out. Used socket only. No drills.

I just went through all 8 pages of discussion on this topic. Going to replace my silver rings with black this weekend. Nervous as hell hah

I was looking at installing this as well. Sounds like a good product? My only hesitation is regarding the factory warranty. Would something like this void the warranty if an issue occurred?

Does anyone have a recommendation for any Chicago area company who is great at installing after market upgrades? I am also looking for ideas on how to customize my Bronco and would look for this company who can help in that. New tires/wheels, bumper/fogs, rock lights, etc. Thanks.

Shoved a new 75" flat screen box into the back and the latch caught on one of the bindings. The box won.

Not sure if this is the right sub-forum but will try anyways. Looking to see if anyone has ever tried to order a replacement part of the rear soft top latch used to secure it in the cargo area? I snapped mine and need a replacement. I think I may have found it online but the diagram is not...

Where did everyone mount their Kicker hideaway sub? I ask as I am having trouble screwing the straps into the back seat. The seat backing must be metal as my drill and the screws are not going in.

One more question - where did you ground the subwoofer to?

Thanks for the replies all. Someone recommended that I may not have a good ground so I moved it and the amp powered on!
