Just noticed a strange chirping noise under the hood when in park. Had my bronco two years and never heard it before. Here’s a video. Listen closely at the beginning and end. The chirps are about 30 seconds apart. Anyone know what this is?

Took it in and they claim no issues could be found. I did see several techs and the service manager look pretty thoroughly under my bronco when it was being serviced. So I guess it’s ok and hope nothing explodes down the road

No mine wasn’t so much a whine more than a rattle. Mine was mainly noticeable on cold start. Took to dealership and they claimed nothing could be found.

Honestly I am not sure. The sound in my situation at least is coming from the front end of the vehicle. Likely a wastegate rattle.

Right around second 16 it starts and then on and off until the end. I hope it’s a big nothing. After the other cam phaser videos I’ve seen I agree mine doesn’t sound quite like that!

Sounds like the same exact issue I have as well. It was something I recently heard as "new" so getting it checked that it's not something more than just normal noise. Will posted back on findings!

Yes I have to say that my rattle is not as loud as those with the cam phaser issue - at least when comparing videos of the cam phaser to my rattle. I HOPE its not cam phaser and its just wastegate but who knows. I can say the rattle I have started maybe a week ago - I am at 11K miles.

I am hearing this on my 2.7 at start up and sometimes letting off gas. Taking it into the stealership on Saturday.
