KC still makes their Dayliters but with LEDS. I was hoping to go this route, since a family member gifted me an original 70's(?) Dayliter but the bolt is absolutely massive lol.
I really want to like the trailrax but I hate the modern roof rack design of having that weird curve in the wind deflector. I'm still on the fence but RCI offroad is looking like the one.
It’s a lot more plug and play compared to the Amazon kits (if it actually fit properly). For a minute it was almost the same price when I bought mine.
I have a 2.3 manual sas and it’s very “good enough”. No issues passing people if needed, decent mileage and it’s apparently the most reliable. After driving the 2.7 at the offrodeo, i do like it a bit more for its punch off the line but its not enough to justify the price increase.
Like the title say I'm out of places to direct mount to the battery terminal. So far I have a winch and stand alone aux switch panel and i'm planning on running a few more high amp items such as an on board air compressor and a DC-DC charger. I have an idea for running an additional bus bar but...
I was worrying about the same thing ended up using Rough Country's light controller. I really wanted the garmin setup but I still wanted to retain use of the factory aux switches.
Looks like they tossed some BG chemicals in there. Which are not cheap but also not that expensive. I don't take it as snake oil but don't assume a can is going to fix a rod knock either. Price wise that looks about like what my Volkswagen dealer chargers for an oil change and trans service. Its...
I met the dude that came up with the system (or coined the name). It was definitely built on a budget lol. The final product was definitely way more refined and model specific but yeah you could totally diy it for cheap.
I am not trying to bash on crossover owners but they really need to get a grip on what their vehicle is and what its capable of. Watching those poor traction control systems trying to figure out which wheel to apply the brakes looks painful. Another reason why I constantly tell Toyota bros to...
I opted to a pair of Baja Designs LP9 sport (the cheaper version) and holy cow are they awesome. After a few test runs, I've realized I don't really need that many lights. TBH I was a bit of a cheap light snob on my last truck.
Honestly try a high end quality brand on the bumper a see if that...
Probably should of gone with the 6112, I'm not a fan of spacers especially topping them off with another lift kit (6100). Maxing out the preload is what they are designed for and they even state lift with the stock springs are marginal.
I bought the cliq chair on that last sale and i'm returning it. It sits at an angle with no head rest. I opted for the GCI rocker fat ass edition. It doesn't fold down small but enough to not get in the way in my two door.
