    Yes, The switches are ignition controlled. The wires are easy, just took a little finger gymnastics to unwrap the tape. For the Uniden the USB would not put out enough power (only 5v) which I think is the same for the V1. I find it really nice to just be able to flip it on and off for time...

    This! it puts the tow point in the middle of the vehicle vs the side and keeps from an off-center pull.

    Way better than my Jeep and fantastic for the price. This is not a $100k Defender so I don't expect the same interior fit and finish.
