Well ain't that some shit.
One dealer tires to be honest, open, and decent toward Bronco buyers and Ford drops a deuce in the punchbowl.
I'm a 3/20/21 reservation holder, so I expect I'm looking at 2024 at this point.
Nah. These guys who place a bunch of orders, just to turn around and flip them, drive up prices and reduce supply for real buyers.
I just can’t muster an ounce of sympathy here. I really can’t.
Ford should really have limited it to one Bronco per customer for the first two years.
Want to flip your one Bronco? Fine. But I have zero sympathy for people who put in a bunch of reservations just to flip them. There’s more to this story, I promise.
This was posted at BOF back in late August. I’m wondering if these are all the changes for 2022? Sort of looks that way. If so, that’ll make ordering easy.
Any word on what the Capable Bumper (which is distinct from the Modular Bumper) looks like?

New 2022 Model Year...
A fair critique, but his overall point still stands. SFAs are beefy where it counts. This design, however, has its own potential issues, like death wobble. Truly a case of “pick your poison.”
Thanks for this feedback, OP. Seems spot-on. The Bronco is a worthy entry into the off-road/overland market. It is a true Wrangler competitor. Removable top. 2- and 4-door configurations. E-disco. 35s fitted from the factory. Nobody except Jeep was offering these things, in this space...
You’ll get a lot of differing opinions on ceramic. My thoughts (and take them for the zero dollars you paid):
* Professional ceramic is really expensive. IMO you’re better off paying that money for some strategic PPF in high-impact areas.
* Amateur pure ceramic is hard to apply correctly...
I’ve used a lot of CG products, and they continue to be my go-to brand.
But unless you simply enjoy the process of detailing (or love the smell of carnauba wax, which I would totally understand), let me save you some time and money:
Go straight to their line of Hydro products...
