  1. Disconcerting video - Broken GOAT mode during off roading?

But here's the thing. Toyota has had Multi-Terrain Select on the Taco and 4Runner for a while now. It functions much the same as Ford's GOAT modes, but has a more boring name. On Toyotas, MTS works on top of whatever you're doing with the transfer case and rear locker. Sometimes it won't...
  2. Disconcerting video - Broken GOAT mode during off roading?

I've owned three Jeeps, and always thought this was just how transfer cases were supposed to work. Then I bought a 4Runner. The transfer case on it shifts like butter, and has since day one. I don't know what the hell Jeep is doing, but they need to spend some time studying Toyota transfer...
  3. 4dr. Badlands 2.3/7MT test drive report

Now imagine how all those Jeep owners feel, driving around on 35s with 4.10s or, gulp, 3.73s.
  4. Excitement is Over

It's gonna be OK, big guy.
  5. 2021 Bronco vs 4Runner Pics / Extended MPG in real-world / O.A.S

Yeah, that's actually a real swing-and-a-miss on Ford's part. Both the JL and 4Runner have rear seat vents. They're not difficult or expensive to include.
  6. 2022 HERITAGE PACKAGE (Everything it will most likely Include)

It really needs white fenders and wheels. Fortunately, those are pretty easy to do with some vinyl wrap and some white fifteen52 Analog HDs. That, plus Yellowstone paint, will be tremendous.
  7. MIC top durability

TBH, if you're worried about scratches and fading, I'd get the painted hardtop and have a quality self-healing PPF applied. Runs about $5k for an entire vehicle, but everyone I know who has had it done friggin' loves it.
  8. yeet’s Blue Bronco

Nice. Sounds like a well-considered build. Post lots of pics.
  9. MIC top durability

Who knows? Jeep hardtops are fine. I've owned three of them. They scratch just like paint scratches because they're painted, but I never really had an issue with mine. As for the MIC, I imagine it will scratch just like plastic trim can be scratched. I'm sure the MIC hardtop will fade if you...
  10. My Cactus Gray Big Bend just delivered. First pics & early impressions

Nice, man. Congrats. I love CG. My dealer had a Bronco Sport in that color and I got to see it in lots of different light. Very sharp rig.
  11. 2022 order?

In the future, the world will be divided into the Bronco'd and the Non-Bronco'd. It will be a dark future for the latter. Worse, their fates are already sealed. Orders are full until the end of time. Even the Seventh Gen is already sold out. They are doomed. They just don't know it yet.
  12. 2022 Ford Bronco Heritage Edition - A Closer Look (Dedicated Thread for All Things Heritage)

I think that would cause many of us to re-evaluate. I'm all in on the manual Sasquatch. The 2.3L will be fine, but I'd buy the 2.7 in a heartbeat.
  13. So I bought a Defender….

Steel wheels are the only proper way to spec a Defender. I hope you enjoy it. I've seen them on the road and they look sharp. Very big boys, no doubt. But sharp. The rubber flooring/seatbacks should be standard on all 4x4s.
  14. 0-60 mph test for 2.3L Bronco with 7-speed manual by TFL

Correct. A JL + 6-speed + 4.10s + 35s is a friggin' dog on hills on the highway. 6th and 5th are useless. 4th will sometimes work. Sometimes you need 3rd.
  15. $2000 Off Invoice is Back at Granger Ford Starting 03/20/21

Right on. Thanks, Zach. I'll be on the lookout for that email. (y)
