I agree. I'm cross shopping the Bronco with the Jeep.
I've driven both. The bronco drives much more like a normal SUV. The ride is excellent.
The noise is similar to a Wrangler or Gladiator fitted with AT tires. (Jeeps with MT tires are louder)
So on road, the Bronco is kind of like a...
That's interesting but absolutely irrelevant. I was specifically addressing another person's comment that the paint on the top would fade.
It won't.
Re slight difference in paint color. That is a function of the skill of the painter. You get the right guy and it will be perfect. You do't...
Yes, in fact you don't even need to plug in.
Running the AC overnight only draws down less than 10% of battery power.
Uh. No. Its a hybrid. No need to plug in ever. Even for plug in hybrids.
A plug in hybrid is the most versatile choice at this point in time.
At least until
1) you can...
Nobody ever outgrows a good donut.
When I got my Subaru STi years ago, one of the first thing I did was open up the center differential and rip off some donuts. Ha.
I guess its great if looks are more important than actually being able to drive it off road. That thing looks like it has about 3 inches of compression before stuff starts rubbing.
And its idiotic. Big picture. Are you healthy. Are your loved ones healthy. Are your personal relationships in good shape. Are you financially secure.
All this shit is just frosting on the cake. Get over it.
Even if your current car is on its last legs and you actually need a new car...
I've had 2 friends say "I saw a bronco on the road and I wasn't impressed, its much smaller than a Wrangler".
I then send them these 2 photos. That's not me in the second photo. But it shows a size perspective next to an adult male. (though it looks like that guy isn't very tall)
Its still done. The problem with back when it was done until the mid 70s, was that all that waste oil had tetra-ethyl Lead in it in suspension. So the lead would drain down and into groundwater.
Or worse, the auto shop that did the work had a waste oil furnace and burned the oil releasing...
I was driving through Plymouth, NH and saw a very handsome (cute?) 2 door Orange Bronco on the dealer's lot. I was with my Daughter and we were just poking around on our way to Maahhket Basket so we puled in.
I walked in expecting the sales guy to say "Sorry, ordered, sold, can't drive it"...
Hey all, I just drove a Cyber Orange, 2 door Badlands with non Sasquatch wheel/tire upgrade and a 2.7T
It was very nice. I'll do a full review in the general forum, just wanted to give NE folks a heads up on this demo model.
I dont' know how they sized it, but it would be ideal if it matched up with the roughly 5 inch step up to the floor when the seats are folded down. This would have the benefit of giving a flat floor.
If it matches, I'm getting this. If it doesn't. I will build one that gives me a flat...
