  1. (UPDATED) Rotational squeak / squeal noise below 30mph after driving

I don’t see why not. I drove mine for months like that. But I do have a very short commute. Mine would only actually make the noise if I drove it for close to 30 minutes. Even then I think it’s just an annoying noise / nuisance.

  3. Bike rack (in the hitch) recommendations?

I have it setup so that the rack JUST BARELY touches the tire when folded. I figure it might help avoid any chance of a rattle or wobble. There is still additional room in the setup to insert the rack "shallower" or further rearward if you don't want any contact when folded. Having said all...
  4. (UPDATED) Rotational squeak / squeal noise below 30mph after driving

I did not try that (because warranty). I've never encountered a CV joint that needed regular external lubrication. I think it is probably coming from inside the joint although that is weird as well. It's worth a shot. Please let us know the outcome if you try it.
  5. FE tow hitch & 1Up bicycle rack w/ extension (Blue & Orange)

just to clarify as shown in the original post I do use a 1up hitch extender in conjunction with the rack.
  6. (UPDATED) Rotational squeak / squeal noise below 30mph after driving

i work in service for a local family owned Ford dealership. Ford paid the warranty claim no questions asked. You may want to ask to go for a ride with a tech, advisor, or the service manager. If you can arrange this you can just drive the vehicle until the noise presents itself (in my case...

  12. Is ICON the only maker of hub centric 93.1 wheels?

You are wrong. You apparently aren’t even reading the post you are quoting. I am done. Feel free to continue to be wrong.
  13. Is ICON the only maker of hub centric 93.1 wheels?

So to try to get this back on track for the original OP. Does anyone know of any other brands of hubcentric wheels made to fit Bronco/Ranger center bore size?
  14. Is ICON the only maker of hub centric 93.1 wheels?

this is true as pertains to lugnuts. However this is not the only determining factor when it comes to the wheels. broncos (and lots of other vehicles) have tapered/conical lugnuts but are still hubcentric. The hub on a Bronco has a flange that the wheel fits onto to center it. Hubcentric is...
  15. Is ICON the only maker of hub centric 93.1 wheels?

excerpt from the Bronco shop manual below describing the process to clean the interface surfaces and apply anti seize to the wheel pilot bore and the hub pilot flange. This is because the design is Hubcentric. WARNING: When a wheel is installed, always remove any corrosion, dirt or...
  16. Is ICON the only maker of hub centric 93.1 wheels?

I don’t doubt your experience above, but I’m fairly certain that you are incorrect. Bronco is not Lugcentric. The use of conical shaped lug nuts does not necessarily mean that a wheel or hub design is lug centric. therefore, this discussion is definitely not “inappropriate”. (sorry to OP...

I daily drive my stock FE. So 2.7L SAS. I live within walking distance of my work so my driving is essentially 100% city stop and go. I consistently get 14.9 city. I have gotten anywhere from 20 to 25 on highway only trips depending on speed.

  19. Nuts & Bolts are Metric or SAE?

I’m not going to say that there aren’t ANY standard nuts or bolts anywhere on the Bronco, but it is definitely going to use primarily METRIC hardware.
