although it is obviously the same causal part (the front driveshaft or CV joint generically speaking), i'm wondering if / not 100% sure that this FSA was intended to specifically address our noise concern.
The FSA reads as follows: "the front driveshaft constant-velocity (CV) joint boot...
I just had to look at some photos of mine to confirm, but my 2021 FE is the same.
In 8,000 miles of driving I had NEVER noticed that they were different
weird.
thanks for bringing it to my attention. Now it’s gonna bug me. :cautious:
That looks like the early production “brush guard” that they redesigned likely in part due to feedback on this forum.
it was commonly referred to as the “BO” bar around here as B&O were the only letters that you could see with it installed.
Ford went back to the drawing board at the last...
The website currently says 30% off through October 7th, but in my experience they are pretty much always running one special or another that usually varies from 20 to 40% off and they will typically honor the sale even if the date has expired.
Agreed, looks like a cheap IAG knockoff.
& looks like the clamps would damage the finish on your sliders.
but they are polar bear photoshop weight tested so maybe there is something to them. 🤔
I was reading another member's post about a piece of Bronco themed garage wall art and thought it might be worth sharing this.
Ford Motor Company has an images archive website with approximately 16,000 Ford Specific Images available in a variety of sizes and formats including:

My FE had more noticeably more rake than some other SAS Broncos. It was visually quite noticeable and bothered me as it looked bad in the front to me.
old thread on this
I attribute this to the extra weight of: the hardtop, the metal modular front bumper, and the hydraulic sway bar disconnect...
it is totally do-able. I have done it on my FE. I think some of you must be confusing ”liftgate” or back hatch glass with the side opening “tailgate” or back door.
I cannot speak to the long term effects to the glass mounts or MIC top as mentioned by others above.
I’m not criticizing, just asking an honest question. How does something in stock require 15-20 days to ship?
I can’t wait to receive my order. Super excited to get my new spare wheel and tire mounted up.
That red & gold combo is gorgeous!
I may have set my pressures too high to start with. Went with recommended 39psi as posted on the door decal. I’ll have to experiment.
Sadly no “Sport Mode” offered on my trim level for some unknown reason. I need to invest in forescan sooner or later.

So I finally got a complete set of 4 mounted, balanced, and installed.
I did have to remove the plastic blocks from underneath the rearmost part of the front wheel well liners to get a little additional clearance so they they don’t rub on my mudflaps.
Initial impressions:
Looks: awesome...
I test fitted the one BFG that I have this afternoon after finishing my spacer lift and was very pleased with the look. It did rub on my mudflap at full lock though so I’ll have to see if I can make an adjustment there.
I found time to install mine today. They are quite nice and arrived well packaged and in perfect condition. I’ll need some time to make up my mind about the appearance. The step/board itself is beautiful, but for some reason the 4 visible clamps are bugging me in the “low” (and most useful)...
I finally found time to install mine today. I’m very pleased with the results visually.
Have not had a chance to drive yet so can’t comment yet on any possible change in driving dynamics.
