  1. 2023 vs 2024 OuterBanks

Can you fix the images? Which one is the 2024? I see one has 2023 at the top but the other images are heavily cropped. The rear locker is a big deal, and is the only option that I regret not getting. The 2.7l is a must for me, it is an excellent motor. Luxury package was also a must for me...
  2. ADV Production Modular Hardtop!

This is why I said on day one, do not give companies like these a dime of your money before they have an actual product. I am not comfortable pre-paying for anything that is not actually in production. When I heard ADV was charging people immediately, even though it was going to be a lengthy...
  3. 34X10.5 tires on BD Steel Wheels (w/ 2" OME lift)?

I like my 33s as well, I'd be down with skinny 34s too, to give just a hair more room.
  4. Lift caused CV Axle issue

    RCV makes great CVs.
  5. What was your first Bronco accessory mod?

Ford Performance lift. Ordered it before I took delivery.
  6. AWD Hybrid - Maverick

My inlaws had a Ridgeline years ago. We all hated it. They are super overrated. The interior, the way it drove, everything about it.
  7. AWD Hybrid - Maverick

My mom has the FWD Hybrid. The mpgs she gets driving it like the actual grandmother she is, are insane. Adding AWD is extremely attractive, since she lives in the mountains that sees snow and ice. The new Lobo is super attractive as well. Torque vectoring rear differential is awesome.
  8. I have given in to the dark side…

I love the honesty! I was in the same boat. I ordered a Badsquatch manual, but ended up with a 2.7l OBX Lux, non sas. I'm an overlander, not an offroader. I don't need 4.70s and locking diffs. I chose a more fuel efficient setup.
  9. Minor Updates - TrailRax TMR Roof Rack and Bronze Method Wheels

Looks great. I love my TrailRax.
  10. 2.3L Octane -- 87 vs. 93 -- 93 wins on power, what about long-term?

The octane additive. Its all from the same base stock.
  11. Under engine armor, Oil drain

I do the same thing. Loosen the slotted bolts, remove the other two bolts. It is a 15mm? I think, maybe a 14mm. I use the Ronin plug and a piece of clear tubing. Very easy oil change.
  12. 2.3L Octane -- 87 vs. 93 -- 93 wins on power, what about long-term?

Ahh that oil is junk. You want a full synthetic that meets Ford Spec WSS-M2C961-A1. I personally run expensive Amsoil Signature, because cost is relative to me. According to Windows Copilot: Oils that meet the Ford WSS-M2C961-A1 specification include: Motorcraft Synthetic Blend Motor Oil...
  13. 2.3L Octane -- 87 vs. 93 -- 93 wins on power, what about long-term?

It would. I know catch-cans are a hotly debated topic. I've run them on all of my direct injection engines. For my 2.7l I do not, since it also has port injection.
  14. Oops I drove in 4H - and U-Turned!

Slippery changes to 4H in my OBX non-Sas, non Advanced Transfer case. I think that is a mistake on Ford's part, it should not go to 4H in slippery mode. Too many people probably think slippery is for rain.
  15. 2.3L Octane -- 87 vs. 93 -- 93 wins on power, what about long-term?

The numbers simply represent the octane rating, assuming the fuels have the same additive package. "Regular vs Premium" is a marketing scam. The quality of the fuels are the same. The engine will burn the 87 with no ill-effects. I posted this yesterday: I run 93 in warm and hot weather. I run...

  17. What did you do TO / WITH your Bronco today? 👨🏻‍🔧🧰🚿🛠

My JCR table fell apart, and even before that, the latches weren't good enough.
