  1. Fox 2.5 Performance Series HTO Shocks

Appartenly, Fox has the same issue with their own spanner wrench not fitting their 2.5" Performance Elite coilovers too.
  2. My 2025 Bronco Outer Banks caught on fire - burned down to shell (updated with photos)

I responded earlier in this thread thinking I saw the same thing. The post I'm thinking of, is of a connector to, or around the vicinity of, the brake booster. I vaguely remember seeing a picture of the connector somewhat burnt and melted.
  3. My 2025 Bronco Outer Banks caught on fire - burned down to shell (updated with photos)

Isn't there an issue with the brake booster connector on some Bronco's that is a risk of causing a fire?
  4. Cannot get this off. Any suggestions welcomed

I remember using newspaper and peanut butter to refurbish the soft top window panels when I used to have a YJ back in the early 90's.
  5. Hard top wrap - gloss, satin, or matte finish?

I'm most curious about how the top is when the PPF is removed. I've got blemishes on the back of my MIC just from the run-off water during window tint installation on the lift gate glass. I wonder if the PPF will leave a blemish on the MIC where it will forever need to be wrapped.
  6. KING 2.5 OEM performance shocks issues

I think part of the perception is due to the Bronco having a rake with the factory shocks. So, with the factory suspension, when you add weight, the rear sags enough to make it look level because the front was lower to start with. When you swapped to the Kings, it leveled the baseline stance by...
  7. Just added Bilstein 8112’s

I’m pretty sure spring compressors are not needed to adjust these…just a spanner wrench. *Edit to add - I stand corrected.
  8. Hard top wrap - gloss, satin, or matte finish?

If you have the MIC top, it will be very difficult to get good adhesion. I know someone else on this forum wrapped his in white several years ago. Hopefully, he will see your post and respond with his experience. If you have the new painted tops, then I would choose gloss PPF, personally. To me...
  9. Feedback on MetalCloak Rear Control Arms

Check your rear upper control arm mounts at the frame. Those mounts on the early builds are prone to cracking and separating from the frame. Edit to add: I just noticed your upper mounts are boxed in, so you don't have the early build issue.
  10. CTEK Battery Indicator 56-380 Placement in Engine Bay

Is that the same size as a rocker switch? If so, you can probably use any of the basic rocker switch brackets and find a spot along the fender wall or firewall to mount it to.
  11. Just added Bilstein 8112’s

I think the Bilstein guys said in their podcast last year that you could run 37's, but you would need aftermarket fenders.
  12. QUESTION: Base side mirrors to turn signal side mirrors

You can get the turn signal inserts for the mirror assembly on Amazon. I think they are branded by Archaic. They replace the factory spot light in the mirror housing.
  13. What UCA upper control arms you running and why.

I will be using the Icon tubular UCA’s. I plan to go to a truer 35” from the factory Goodyears, so I don’t feel the need for the ability to make adjustments at the UCA. I expect the dual stage bushings will feel better than spherical bearings for mostly pavement miles…if you do a lot of...
  14. (UPDATED) Rotational squeak / squeal noise below 30mph after driving

Looks like I need to add a heat shield. I am getting this rotational sound that increases with speed. It's most noticeable between 30mph and 55mph.
  15. BEWARE: ReadyLift False Advertising

This seems like good product info, detailing which kit should be used for a specific configuration Bronco. A kit installed on an unintended configured Bronco could be a mismatch in components. This, I can def see being an issue.
  16. BEWARE: ReadyLift False Advertising

This thread is off the rails. So, OP has screen shots of a rep at Readylift telling him that they acknowledge the issue he is experiencing and then going on to say that the specific kit is actually designed for street use….and that if he wants to off-road without anything binding, he should...
  17. Safety Recall 24S55 - 2.7L Engine Valve Inspection

Picked up my 2021 Bronco from the dealer today. 50,300 miles and it passed the valve test.
  18. What's up with dealerships charging diagnostic fees?

Yup, they said not covered by the extended warranty.
  19. What's up with dealerships charging diagnostic fees?

I just experienced the diagnostic fee...dropped the Bronco off for an oil change and told them a few issues to check out (AC not always working, an intermittent buzzing sound when stopped in drive or reverse gear, and the crazy passenger front window rattle). Each diagnosis is just over $242. My...
  20. Stock WT Tire Rub

Tell the salesperson that the lurching while reversing is troublesome, but you’ll buy it anyways if they knock down the price by 5k. Then just unscrew the crash bars and remove them after signing.
