  1. How common are cracking issues on latest hardtops?

I'm telling you I believe every single MIC will delaminte/crack. I just ran out of my 3y36k and I have had 4 roofs replaced due to delamination (thanks to my dealer for working with me). This final roof was installed July 2025 and now has signs of delamintion. I've found small hairline cracks...
  2. MIC top replacement denied, Ford claims Out of Warranty despite bringing it in pre 3/36 (if just barely)…

I am about to be on hard top #4 just beforey 3 year warranty ends. My 22 outer banks has been in the shop for a combined 183 days 😂. I recommend taking a light to the rear shell glass, and look around the corners. This is where the hairline cracks always start for me. This most recent hard top...
  3. Water Leak...

I may be a bit late to this. My bronco had the exact same leak. There was no amount of replacing seals and adjusting roof panels that fixed it. The dealer literally plugged every weap hole in the header seal with some rubber cement compound to finally stop the water from dripping into the cabin...
  4. 2025 MIC Top Question

When you think you're MIC is safe... it's not. Those cracks will rear thier ugly heads, it's only a matter of time
  5. Noise coming from the dashboard area when Turing off the bronco

I have just experienced the same noise this winter. Happens when I drive a good distance and everthign warms up. Park the vehicle and turn everything off (defrost engaged) and the noise appears. taking into dealer next week to see what they say.
  6. Is this the infamous MIC top delamination on my 2024?

I've been waiting for 3 weeks for my dealer to get my roof in for replacement. I mentioned to them about the sound deadening liner but haven't gotten a response. If yours came with the liner, did they install that or did it come with it already, or how does that work? I just don't want more...
  7. Hard top rippled / cracking!

After 2 years on a 2022 they finally showed up. This thing is a huge POS that's been in the shop more than my Garage
  8. Gas Pedal Sticky/Bumpy/Rough

Weather started cooling down and the issue is back again. Figured I would update this thread. I don't believe my dealer replaced the pedal, and instead just lubricated it with the least effort possible. Been dealing with roof leaks non stop so I'm sure my dealer will be happy to hear there's...
  9. Paint chipping under bolts for hard top mounting points

I just got my vehicle back after 3 weeks. It went in for a leak in the roof (passenger side behind the sun visor) and then t was a waiting game for Ford to advise them on the chipping paint. After some time, they were told that Ford would not cover the paint chipping. They claimed it was wear...
  10. Paint chipping under bolts for hard top mounting points

appreciate the reply! I have it going in for a leaking roof in the front so I will simply let them know about the paint. Like you said, I won't stress too much about it (rust is my biggest concern though).
  11. Paint chipping under bolts for hard top mounting points

I'm with you, it's very aggravating
  12. Paint chipping under bolts for hard top mounting points

If the roof comes off its plain as day the paint is coming off (more so I'm worried about rust on the bare metal), it was even flaking onto the dash and that's how I noticed it lol. IDK, when you spend $50k on something, you expect there to be a little more attention to detail. Furthermore, my...
  13. Paint chipping under bolts for hard top mounting points

Correct me if I'm wrong, I tried searching for the topic but couldn't find anything like my issue. I took the two front roof panels off the hard top (2022 outer Banks 4dr) and noticed the paint was peeling or flaking off under the bolts that hold the black metal mounting points to the chassis...
  14. COBB Intake system airbox

I actually just got this installed yesterday. I will say driving it around I noticed a slight difference in throttle response. Prior to installing, I had put 20k miles on the 2.7L and thought it was time for an engine air filter change, went ahead and purchased the cobb intake. Super simple...
  15. Gas Pedal Sticky/Bumpy/Rough

Just a small update: Took the vehicle in for service, gas pedal was replaced under warranty and feels better but still has a slight stick to it (not to worried at this point, may add some lube). While in the shop they also replaced the entire rear glass because of a leak from the bolt in the...
  16. Gas Pedal Sticky/Bumpy/Rough

That's excatly how mine sounds!!! I'll give the grease a try and of course I'll still mention it to my dealership. Going in for paint chipping on the inner passenger door as it scrapes every time it's closed, also have a leaky bolt holding the rear glass to the roof (sigh) so many ittle issues...
  17. Gas Pedal Sticky/Bumpy/Rough

Let me know what they tell ya. I won't be at the dealer until next week. 🙏
  18. Gas Pedal Sticky/Bumpy/Rough

Exactly! It's been cold out so that could be why it's been more noticable, but it is extremely obnoxious and for a vehicle at this price point it's extremely disappointing.
  19. Gas Pedal Sticky/Bumpy/Rough

Never noticed it new, and I'm extremely attentative to this kind of stuff, especially on a new vehicle. I'll let the dealer know, but I'm afraid it's gonna be another "we couldn't replicate the issue" and hassle. 😮‍💨
  20. Gas Pedal Sticky/Bumpy/Rough

Couldn't find any threads about this issue, and this is my first time posting about a problem, so bear with me. 2022 Outer Banks, 17k miles and recently, when pressing or releasing the gas pedal, you can feel a sticky or rough movement feeling from the gas pedal. This occurs with slower pedal...
