I went with the Crusader because for the money, I didn't find any other non-winch bumpers that were as sleek, streamlined and worked really well with the car design. Here's a photo of mine:
Removing the crashbars next week when my tires come in and eventually replace the skidplate with...
$5K markup is reasonable no matter what model Bronco you get right now. Obviously depending on location but LA still has $15-20k markups on all Broncos other than Base manuals.
Since theres two ground wires and two positive wires, would you advise I just join them both Positives into 1, and both Ground wires into 1?
EDIT: To be clear, theres an individual wire from each light that both go into the relay, they don't join beforehand.
Got these off Amazon for pretty cheap: https://auxbeam.com/products/3-inch-led-pods-lights-white-yellow-for-ford-150-250?_pos=4&_sid=6d4f65fa8&_ss=r
The wiring harness it came with looks as such:
Trying to wire these up to my AUX switch... so theres a wire that goes to each light, both...
I've driven a Mercedes, BMW, Audi, Toyota and Tesla... I'd say build quality and material quality is subpar all of those with my Bronco. AND THATS OK. I didn't buy a Bronco for its top notch leather seats, I bought it because I want to throw my shit around, bump it around, replace parts...
really makes me wonder how some of you guys gauge "quality" in cars.
I love my Bronco but I would never say this is a high quality, reliable vehicle by any means lol. The materials are cheap which I'm ok with since I can beat it up, replace it, etc... but to try to delude yourself into thinking...
Just ordered AUXBEAM off Amazon for $125

Pleasantly surprised with build quality and brightness. I have a Diode Dynamic SS3 set as well and these are half the price and just as quality imo.
Took off after 2000 miles, a little dirty but its a plastic bumper, not much to it. And its free if you want to come pick it up. I'm in NE Los Angeles in Eagle Rock.
You’re gonna nee
You’re gonna need a new fuse box too. Also check to make sure that’s the right wiring harness for your car. There’s like 4 different versions depending on which model and options you have.
not difficult but does require patience.
See here for instructions: https://www.bronco6g.com/forum/threads/aux-upfitter-overhead-switches-installed-diy-writeup-instructions-photos.35388/
Took me about 2 hours and will cost you just about $1000 for parts.
You'll find that just about anyone that retrofitted the aux switches and swapped out the fusebox ran into this exact situation. Give it a shot, get those white terminals fully in there and tighten.
If you replaced the fusebox and its not turning on, then the fusebox is not properly cconnected to the 3 terminals.
Exact same thing happened to me and sent me down a spiral until a couple others had the exact same issue when replacing the fusebox.
The 3 bolts on the fusebox need to be...
So when you disassemble the fuse box, there are three white connecting terminals, which you tighten with the three bolts.
so when you tighten the three bolts, it seems as if the terminal connectors are fully seated but it’s actually not. And it’ll loosen up over time and if disconnected in any...
I've been warning people about this exact issue and I've been seeing a lot of stories revolving this.
The connecting terminals below the fusebox is VERY fickle. It very easily pops off and will kill the entire car. I had to have my dealership take a deep look when we tried switching out the...
Damn where are you folks seeing Broncos of any trim for MSRP on lot... here in LA, the average is like $10-15k. For higher trims, they're 20k+ and they don't stay on the lot for longer than a week.
Nope. The opening in the center is right where the ACC module is. There's a cover that I haven't installed yet but the cover has a cut out in the middle which exposes the ACC module as well so no need to relocate.
Finally made some time to install this morning.
Need to wire the lights up tomorrow. Crash bars coming out and JCR skid plate going in next month.
Loving this bumper so far and working with a local guy to make a custom bull bar.
More to come!
