Ah this is exactly what I’ve been looking for. Thank you!!!
I’ll cross compare with my plastic bumper and see where the overlaps are.
thanks again.
Hmm I’ll keep my eyes out. Seems rather rare to see them pop up, especially ones that may be willing to ship to LA. I’m following like 6 diff Bronco groups on FB and I haven’t seen a single one pop up. And I very rarely see them popping up on here as well.
Let me know if you see them pop up at all.
Unfortunately it’s more parts than that. The mod bumper is composed of multiple smaller parts that make it whole including a bunch of parts behind the metal main bumper piece it seems. I’ve found some sites and threads on here that discuss it in part but it’s rather confusing and a bit incomplete.
Exactyl. It’s just easier to try to get the parts list together to make sure I have all parts necessary to make it whole. I know a lot of people have successfully installed take offs but no one seems ti have quite a definitive list yet :/
Yes I know those are options. N
I think it’s because the mod bumper takes a lot of pieces to assemble from scratch. It’s not hard, it is a little expensive but just need to compile the parts list.
Someone’s takeoff likely is already assembled, just taken off the car but all parts assembled as...
Hey folks, my dealership can’t seem to get it together for whatever reason. Wondering if anyone has the definitive list of parts needed to swap bumpers? Including the tow hook-less brackets, etc… every piece that needs to be swapped or installed?
appreciate any and all help!
Just go for the 35". Tons of people already switching to 35" without concern. I've spoken endlessly about this with my parts guy and my dealership and they've assured me that unless youre going nuts with rock crawling and such, your car can handle 35" plenty.
Even from a mileage standpoint...
Oh interesting, Ford Parts shows that the part # you got from Mangold is the one with autodim rearview mirrors and such (https://parts.ford.com/shop/en/us/electrical/wire-looms-and-connectors/wire-14913569-1?pdp=y). Maybe it doesn't really matter between the two.
Appreciate your advice - I feel...
Not only that but there’s a good 10 diffeeent parts that you need to assemble to make the modular bumper work. It’s not difficult, just expensive and tedious.
Did you need to do the programming steps that Rusty listed out in his steps?
Also, interesting, I also have Base Bronco and I received different part numbers than yours:
M2DZ 14335 G - Wire harness
M2DZ 78519A70 JD - Console assembly
Is that normal to have different part #'s based on specific...
As others have reported, it does not come painted. Others have just spray painted theirs and it looks ok. Personally wouldn’t do that… but if you wanted to save $200, that’d be the way.
