Where did you mount your amp and crossovers? I am getting a CRAZY high pitch whine from my speakers when driving - it's driving me crazy. I have it going in the shop on Wednesday, but any ideas on what might cause it?

If it's an option, get it. 4x4 is just better with a rear locker. You may not need it, but it's more than just an add on and well worth the modest price.

Anyone who's done this: does it improve the response of the screen, the slow load/freeze times and the integration of apple carplay or android auto? The 8 inch screen is always locking up, freezing, slow, etc.

Maybe I'm silly but where did you mount those crossovers? I have focal slatefibers and tried to put them in the foot wells but I think I get some sort of harmonic feedback because I'll catch a high pitch whine from the speakers at higher speeds.
