Am I missing a plastic piece or is this how it came from factory? I finally got my stereo all dialed in but I can't remember if there was a plastic piece over this section that I lost or if there was never anything there.
4 door hard top 2023.
Does this rattle in ANY way?
I was about 2 days from ordering a ADD panel for 300+ dollars but if for 100 you can give me one that's better than these other rattly ass trash replacements or fake molle tables that are junk( jcr's was awful and I'm not shy about saying it. I fought it for weeks...
I realize I was confusing there - It doesn't make the sound OFF, if you turn off the car, wait say 30 minutes, then go drive again, you'll hear it when you're driving again and don't need to get up to higher speeds. If it sits for like 2 days, you probably won't hear it until highway speeds...
Just got back from unclipping every light on my truck, all the quick connects, thinking that might stop a closed circuit so if something was funny about the lights or similar it might make a difference. It didn't.
Here is what I notice, not because of the lights but just from a quick drive:
I...
New amp, added the resisters as were mentioned right from audiocontrol, rewired literally everything and moved the ground to the battery, and still making that damn sound - here is a new clip from yesterday. No phone plugged in or bluetoothed to it in ANY way. No stereo on. Just driving with no...
Don't even get me started - If the family didn't have a tie here that we can't let go I'd be looking to transfer jobs QUICK. Dallas is crazy expensive.
Who do you use, if you don't mind sharing?
Dallas you're paying 175-200 for a shop worth going to. You can find cheaper, and some might be good at some things and not so great at others. There are surely better prices out there and maybe even really good shade tree mechanic types but for warranty work and standing behind things 200 bucks...
I love my 21 4runner TRD Off Road and I'm excited to see the 2025. It's great for my family. It's WAY quieter than the Bronco and more comfortable for my parents who are older. I just put AT4s on it thanks to @Discount Tire and it's as capable as any regular bronco on 32s or so minus the angles...
My driver's side window honestly sounds like it's going to break every time I drive with it down slightly or half open, etc. It SLAMS into the sides. My dealership says it's "within tolerance" and just sends me off.
I'm trying to follow but is there a TSB out for that issue, or am I...
There is a video floating around of a rear tire breaking the rear window going over a rather big bump. There are also a few examples of dimpled or bent sheet metal on the tailgate as well.
Amp is under the back driver side panel in the cargo bay. It's totally hidden and takes a while to get to. I had 2 break ins so far, I didn't want to risk having something out in the open.
I'm not sure. I didn't install myself. I have had heard similar on a friend's car when they had a huge system and the alternator started to go or something, but this forum has so many intelligent people with such a wide array of knowledge I wanted to ask around.
'm just trying to get my head...
It seems to be both front speakers where the component set is.
It does get louder with higher speed but very minimal - at 80 it's INSANE. It happens at 5mph just the same but less frequently/can stop for a minute or two at times.
