I put it against the back side behind the wheel well almost against the 'wall' where the tailgate opens. there is a cubby like space in there. Had to do some fab to secure it and run the wires nicely. It's a VERY tight fit and I would look for an alternate place if I did it again but I was...
Do I need forscan to stop the dinging from coming through my speakers when I get in and out of the car or start it? It is SO loud on my stereo it's driving me bonkers.
Any idea?
No. Not at all. I have it in my 4 door.
I had to put it on the driver's side under the panel. If I had a tow package it wouldn't have fit, but it worked fine, albeit super, super tight.
What are you running for a sub for that 5 channel, a tailgate sub?
My new tacoma is 49k out the door with the features we want and we compromised a bit. It's more than I want to pay, but we need a new car and I wanted a bed, so I had to suck it up.
I don't know what or how people are justifying some of these prices.
Which is totally insane to me. They started with a base 2 door at 29,5 but demand drove that price through the sky. 4 door was like 32 or something. I know my base v6 sasquatch 4 door was under 42 out the door or really, really close.
I would be entirely priced out at today's numbers.
This is the crux of EVERY car purchase - you bought the base model but they add stuff - base GX is insane; luxurious with lovely build materials and then they bolt on off road goodies. Bronco is bare bones off roader with luxury features pasted on top.
You rarely get it both ways. I'm sure...
I asked this EXACT question a few days ago. It's for soft top owners/part of the soft top. We don't have a cover or a plastic cover for it if you have a hard top.
I worried I lost some sort of cover or cap that went there when I was doing my stereo.
The third one, that's a place to put the...
I have a 4 door but I've fit jl audio xdm 700/5 and a lci5pro behind that panel. I bet with some wiggling and creative energy you could find the space to build a mount. That or does the passenger side have room? I don't know enough about the 2 door...
You can fit a full size amp under the plastic panel on the driver side in the rear, so that's a non-issue. JL Audio makes a stealthbox for the 2 door that hides away on the passenger side but it is outside your price range.
Just a spitball build -

1k - 1500 if you're installing yourself and you could build a really impressive setup for 75% of the people on the planet and have taking the roof off never be an issue again. If you need it installed, double that.
The kicker key is not that good - I don't get it's popularity here other than they're small so easy to hide and a bit of crowd mentality. Maybe I'm missing something.
I went with a 5 channel amplifier. For that, a good 5 channel amp would power all 4 speakers (I used components in the dash but...
Sorry for the confusion - I was replying to the person who posted that "conform" image on someone suggesting wearing a seatbelt -
I don't know the solution. I have the dumbest model of bronco with the tiny screen and found a guide on here. I know I had to do mine because I have a huge dog that...

I have the havok panel in my cart and I'm waiting for a review from more than the one other person I've seen on here with it. Does it rattle at all? Easy install?
I was going to drop 300 on the ADD but if this is solid, I'll gladly save the money.
Give it time. I expect this swap along with the ipad swap to be coming down the pipe in the next year or two. It's the early adopter surcharge.
Same reason you're seeing bumper prices slide down.
