  1. Jeep Owner (Bronco on Order) - Usage Related

I'll add that with either vehicle, I'm not planning on lifting or probably a winch, most of my off roading will be with other people and a snatch/recovery strap and basic recovery gear is pretty much my limit - again, mostly forest roads with mud, beaches with sand (OBX, Florida), and moderate...
  2. Jeep Owner (Bronco on Order) - Usage Related

Ok, I've only owned 4 vehicles in my life, a XJ, Toyota Pickup (22RE), a JK, and now a JL. I have had a Bronco reservation since June 2021, and right now sitting on a Badlands, 2.3L, 7 spd, Non-SAS, MIC order. So, unlike a lot of inquiries here, I don't really mind the Jeep on-road, and I have a...
  3. Never got your assembly line photo? Maybe someone has a match!

That's my exact build, very tempting to go with this over the JLUR I bought last year.
  4. Mesh Bimini Installation!

When's the non-mesh version expected? It may be somewhat a deciding factor if I buy a Bronco or stick with my JL. I run hardtop 6 months and bikini/no top 6 months, but it's for rain mostly, so the mesh is less than ideal.
  5. AJKitebrder40

    Broncos Of The Carolinas

At same point - ordered July 2021, Walterboro Ford
  6. Looking for honest feedback from former JL owners

So, I'm still debating too, but my things are more from a usability standpoint. I've really only had 4 vehicles in my life (I'm 41) - '89 XJ, '93 Toyota 22RE Pickup, '07JKU, '21 JLU Rubicon I have a Bronco Badlands on order, huge plus is the MGV and spray out interior, but.......I went ahead...
  7. Will it fit in my garage?

Yeah......so here's my options: 1. Keep my JLUR with roof racks (pretty likely actually) 2. Keep my Badlands (Non-SAS) order with roof racks 3. Get the SAS with roof racks, but only use them for surf trips - honestly, all of my boards can fit inside (kiteboards, 5'8" foil board, the occasional...
  8. Will it fit in my garage?

Anyone with a SAS and roof rack care to measure? Ford's numbers put it at 82.086, this basically is the difference between (when I eventually have to re-order) getting a Black Diamond Sasquatch or sticking with my original Badlands base order. I run without a top 6 months out of the year, need...
  9. Will it fit in my garage?

Yeah, well I measured and my garage door opening is barely 82", probably 81.5" to be safe. So it would be tight.......2 millimeters sounds closer to accurate.
  10. Will it fit in my garage?

I'm reviving this, because I'm pondering when my '21/'22 order moves to '23 more than likely that I would switch to a Black Diamond w/SAS, but I need roof racks. Garage is a standard 7' door, roughly 82" clearance or so, based on that graph, a 4 door SAS with roof rack would be 82.086". Has...
  11. South Carolina Orders

I ordered originally in July '21 with Walterboro Ford, then again in October when it transferred over. 4 dr EG Badlands, MIC, 2.3 manual. At this point, it's probably going to be a vehicle they can sale when it's built because I'm building out my JLR. I'll definitely go down there and give the...
  12. ERUPTION GREEN Bronco Club

Looking for the same, but in a 4 door.
  13. Base (add Rubberized Floor Aftermarket)

Reviving this thread - has anyone pulled the carpet out of a Base model to see if there are plugs and if it could be aftermarket covered? Now that the Sasquatch is available on a Manual Base, it would save me a ton of money over the Black Diamond.
  14. GOAT Mode vs Manual Shifting

Good to know - especially on the restart portion. I typically lead with the guys I 4x4 with on some local trails, and I'm constantly starting/restarting to talk to them/scout out ahead.
  15. GOAT Mode vs Manual Shifting

So, I'm coming from a Jeep, first a JK, now a JL Rubicon, which I may end up keeping because I'm really liking it. One thing I'm wondering - for people who have gone from a manual 4wd transfer case to the GOAT mode where it's basically automated - any long-term concerns? Are there any pros/cons...
  16. ERUPTION GREEN Bronco Club

Any pics with doors/top off? Or just top, just curious at how it looks.
  17. 4 Door Blues: Bronco vs Wrangler

Good post, I originally reserved a Badlands Velocity Blue, the better comparision would be a stock Badlands vs. a stock Rubicon (which I have). My reservation/order is now for an Eruption Green, I'll make a decision when it comes in. I've always had Jeeps, and honestly, I like the front of the...
  18. Jumping Ship? - What's Your Plan B Vehicle Purchase?

I was the same way, so I measured, I don't completely remember exactly what it was, but I want to think 32" or so from the floor to the bottom edge of the soft top when pryed open.
