  1. Factory Winch vs Aftermarket - Pros and Cons (And Overall Build Discussion)

So, basically this and a Badlands winch and I'm good JcrOffroad: Bronco Winch Plate | 6th Gen (2021+) MOD Steel Bumper
  2. Factory Winch vs Aftermarket - Pros and Cons (And Overall Build Discussion)

Great ok.....I wasn't sure since the winch option isn't on the B&P how that would work (does the price include the bumper too, etc.) and if it's not actually installed at MAP, then......forget it. I'll do it myself, thanks!
  3. Factory Winch vs Aftermarket - Pros and Cons (And Overall Build Discussion)

Since I'm very likely going to be re-ordering my build for '23 (June '21 Reservation), I'm likely going to switch from a Badlands non-SAS to Black Diamond SAS. The things I have to have are: Manual Transmission MIC MGV I don't care about the HIgh package, and the majority of my use is beach...
  4. Details of the Ford Performance Winch Package - Installed on a Basesquatch

So a couple of quick questions, sorry if these have been repeated in the thread: 1. The winch assembly and install is $3500 from the factory, does that include different coil springs to offset the weight? 2. I don't care about blocking front sensors (I'm getting a BD low package), are there...
  5. …..

@Ford Motor Company - add MGV/Vinyl as an option to Base SAS and I'd be all over it, haha. Black Diamond it is.

    Broncos Of The Carolinas

@BroncoPVC Yeah in the meantime (still scheduled for production) - I have my JLUR, when it cools off and maybe stops raining so much we can hit some trails out at Francis Marion. It's mostly mud/ruts, but.....something to do.
  7. As we enter month 24 since reserving, I find myself staring at Jeeps...

I'm in the same boat, I had a JK, bought a JL last November. The JL is a marked improvement over the JK in terms of ride and just overall feel. I don't get the whole steering/meandering thing that everyone complains about. My reasoning for still keeping/possibly accepting my Bronco once it...
  8. Bronco EVERGLADES Reviews Are In... (Full List)

I've very tempted to switch my Emerald Green Badlands Non-SAS build to the Everglades. I'm mostly in mud/ruts/wet environments when off road (already got my JL pretty well stuck and pretty deep in water), and I am at the beach 200+ days a year with gear covered in salt/sand, so whichever trim I...
  9. Age and Reason for 2door and 4door buyers

41 - no kids, 4 doors primarily for 2 reasons: 1. Surfboard/kiting equipment easier to throw in a 4 door 2. Camping - I like to just pull up and sleep inside (deepsleep) If I could pull of a 2 door I would. I go 6 months hard top, 6 months no top/bikini top, keep it stored in the garage...
  10. Recovery Strap - Where do I start?

Yeah, so there's tow ropes (the ubiquitous yellow straps) which everyone has and they are great for that - towing. I went out and bought a recovery/snatch strap which doesn't have as long a lifespan as a Bubba Rope, but it's Arb and it was on sale for $60. I've had my JL pulled out with it with...
  11. Summer solutions for keeping off the hard top

Except..........I run with longboards/SUP's quite a bit.....so.......what's the solution for that?
  12. Summer solutions for keeping off the hard top

This is how I roll with my JL, I don't have to drive for work luckily, but I need a summer option that's not a full soft top (I don't want to store it, I don't really like it, nor do I want to pay for a Trektop). MIC is rolling with racks basically October - April. I need it open in the back for...
  13. 3500 miles in 7 days. 'My Impressions" and Comparisons (from a 20+ Jeeps veteran)

Razor - I liked this, I'm in the same boat (although still debating taking order on my Bronco if/when it's finally built - 5/21 reservation - so late to the party). I've had a XJ, JK, JLU and at least on the JLU (which is a Rubicon) I find it handles and is comfortable to drive, but that may be...

    Broncos Of The Carolinas

I like that build - I have a Hydro Blue JL, and almost went VB on Bronco, right now, same build with Emerald Green
  15. MIC Top - Front Panels only

This is an interesting post, because right now.......this is a main issue keeping me from possibly taking acceptance of my Bronco order. I bought a JL and honestly love it, Jeeps are all I've ever had and I run 6 months hard top, 6 months bikini with spray out interior. I need a top in the...

    Broncos Of The Carolinas

I'm in Charleston too, I'm in Jeep clubs and still on fence if I'll take my Bronco reservation if it ever shows. There are a lot of trails out in Francis Marion, some gravel, some natural, some mud, ha. My neighbor ironically has a Bronco so we head out once in awhile.
  17. Solid Bimini Top

So based on that gap up front, I'm guessing if it rained it would just seeping through there if you are stopped. Ugh - that weighs pretty heavily in my decision-making, the JL has a bimini top that keeps you pretty dry for the most part..........hell maybe I should just say hell with it and get...
  18. Solid Bimini Top

Has anyone used the solid bimini top - Bronco 4Dr 2021-2022 Soft Canvas Bimini Top ~ VM2DZ54500W00D (ford.com) Still deciding between keeping my JL or not, and this factors in. My JL pretty much goes 6 months with a hardtop, 6 months with a bimini top for rain. It's in the garage when I'm not...
  19. Jeep Owner (Bronco on Order) - Usage Related

Yeah, so.....orders for '22 JL's are about to close, but don't buy off a lot, go to a large volume dealer and order exactly what you want for 6/7% below invoice, that's what I did. That's the other issue I may have with going Bronco is the differential between my JLUR price ($43k) and whatever...
  20. "Homemade" hard top lift tips!

I have a similar setup - any luck adding the middle piece somewhere as well? I have mine setup for my JL.
