Yea mine rattle when they are full. It's a decent way to carry fuel, but its not perfect. I'm thinking of machining some different bracket up to stop the rattle. One other thing I did was to put some rubber grommets over the bolts. I was fueling up once and noticed the plastic was getting cut by...
I have 2 gallon rotopax on there. No reason why you can't go larger. Are you thinking the huge single one? I think all the individual tanks fit. But if you want to do that big 4 gallon rotopax, you probably need the other vertical section from badasstents. I don't think the spacing on mine is...
Not much force at all. To get the line into the clamps I used you just spread the clamp. They are a 1/4 inch padded wire clamp. I have a big variety pack from Amazon. Yea the dipstick will clear the line. Once you unthread it the disptick pulls right out.
Getting the line out of the factory...
I have a 2 door and hate how little capacity it has. My old econobox cars had 12 gallons and got like 30mph so it wasn't a big deal. I wish they found some more room for the fuel, maybe a saddle tank or something.
Out west here some trails start 100 miles away from a gas station. I nearly ran...
Where are you measuring to when determining how tall each corner is?
The front looks like it's within a half inch. The rear not so much. When you're measuring, how full is your gas tank? That's nearly 100lbs of fuel (mkre if you're a 4 door) directly above the passenger shock. Also, if you set...
I just wouldn't worry much about it. I understand the OCD about it though. Maybe try to balance any loads you carry or soemthing. I know I usually always carry my air compressor, 4 tire inflation lines, impact gun, and a decent bottle jack. Probably 100lbs of crap, and I try to keep it on the...
How close is it if you just do the same coil perch height on each cornet? Is it off by inches? Or is it off by like half an inch?
When you are making the adjustments, are you cycling the suspension at all in between cranking on each corner? Things will want to stay in place until you cycle the...
First off, get on the California 6 Gen Broncos Facebook page. We are going to diablo dropoff tomorrow. There is a meet spot in El Cajon and I'm meeting a couple up in Temeucla. I'm in Murrieta, so I know those trails you're talking about. I also have a black diamond. There are a bunch of other...
Why don't you make a thread on the vendor marketplace? I made an informational thread based on a lot of drive time with the eibach stuff. You're throwing in all the other brands now? That's weird. Normally site sponsors have their own section.
It almost appear that both times the sound came when the back end squatted in the passenger rear. Or it sorta looked like that.
Did you do the install or did a shop? If you did it, I'd make sure all fasteners are tight. If a shop did it, I'd take it back and tell them to fix it.
Are you sitting level or is the rear lower than the front? Lowering the front and lifting the rear a bit might help with the camber. I have a 2.3 manual also, and mine sits pretty tall at the moment, and it's not even close to adjusted for max height
That's weird, I have a pretty heavy bumper and winch setup, and haven't had that experience with the sag. I have a warn evo10s and a Relentless Fab bumper on mine.
I also have a 2 door manual. I have 33s and they haven't been an issue at all clearance wise or anything. I go where longer wheelbase stuff on 37s get stuck. Pick a good line and you'll be fine.
No it looks fine. The original stage 1 setup was probably closer to 2 inch lift. It's now close to 3 inches. Pic below
I now have the eibach stage 2 and The ride is excellent. I split daily driver duties between my Bronco and my harley. I've done long trips with it and it's much better ride...
I have uppers on mine but they aren't strictly needed. The reason I went with aftermarket upper is they use a beefier and serviceable uniball. And they have grease fittings in the mounts (frame side) to keep them greased. Those 2 things will give them longer service life.
That's all 100% dependant in how much weight you have. Some guys add a ton with gear, rooftop Tents, winch, bumpers, armor, etc. The pics I have posted of the stage 2 are with 33s. So yours will look fine. I have enough clearance to run 35s if I wanted at the current height.
Another thing to think about with the spring rates you're talking about, the jump from 550 to 650 is pretty big. If you have the adjustment maxed, you might damage the internals if you droop all the way out and the spring is allowed to push the piston all the way into the body of the shock. Or...
I realize this pic is terrible for angle, but its what I have for now.
Do you see how, in relation to the axle, the panhard bar is not angled greatly? That's what your wanting to keep relatively the same. You can accomplish that by a bracket or an adjustable bar that will push the axle into...
It depends. If you go really high, you'll need one because of how a panhard bar is set up. I'm guessing that's the bar you mean, it keeps the axle mkre or less centered left/right. If you're like 2-3 inch max, you'll notice the axle is poking a little further toward the driver side. The panhard...
