I donāt even see the skid plates in the pictures. I checked the item descriptions⦠and it turns out theyāre bolt on plastic that needs to be replaced as needed. Not a fan of that at all. I want something strong.
Any idea when theyāll be for sale, if theyāll ever be on sale? If so, major props to them. Iāll buy them as soon as their available.
Edit: Nevermind, theyāre plastic.
Luckily, my spotters have been good enough to where I havenāt touched the gas tank. Although the little mini skid plate in front of it has some scratches.
Are the Badlands and Black Diamond trims much more protected from the factory than the other trims?
After going on a few wheeling trips in my own Bronco, my biggest concern is how exposed the control/trailing arms are. They seem to hang lower than everything else. Even when picking good lines, the trailing arm mounts seemed to drag and scrape against rocks. The other Bronco owners I know who...
Did you do any difficult obstacles? If so, did you scrape your control / trailing arm mounts? I did some pretty intense wheeling this past weekend, and those trailing arm mounts were dragging everywhere. The other Broncos in the group had the same issue. Really hoping the aftermarket will come...
You must not have done any difficult obstacles. Iāve done some intense wheeling with several other Broncos now, and all of them have scraped their trailing arm mounts because they hang so low (regardless of tire package). That is by far the most common complaint with the Bronco off-road. Iām...
I actually lost the instructions, so they were a pain to install.š¤£
But as long as you have the instructions, they should be easy. They came with all the hardware needed, except the tools. Youāll just need an assistant to hold them in place for a minute, because they are HEAVY.
UPDATE: I tried driving with them both on last night. I donāt notice any glare from the pod lights. Thereās a little bit of glare from the light bar, but nothing annoying. And thatās really good, considering my Bronco is white and ceramic coated.
Normally I would agree. But I think the hood protector looks great with the Base or Black Diamond grill. On the other trims, not so much. It also matches the fenders and trail sights.
Thank you!
I do not have a camera in the front. So unfortunately, I do not know if it would block it. Iām not even sure what sensors I have to be honest š

Hmmm⦠Good question. I donāt know how many sensors the Base Bronco comes with, especially since I didnāt even get the mid-package. And thankfully I havenāt needed the automatic emergency breaking yet. But so far Iāve had no issues driving with the nudge bar installed. All of my sensors for the...
The brakes are great on my 4-Door 2.3L with Sasquatch. Way better than my GMC Sierra. If youāre worried about stopping distance from high speeds, you shouldnāt invest in an off-road vehicle with large tires. The competition is the Jeep, which we can all agree drives terribly.
Nah. Was just explaining that times are changing. I would rather have my 4-Door, than your 0-Door. But thanks for explaining the joke. It was even funnier the second time. š
Some sort of 3M adhesive on the bottom. It was super easy to install. Comes with the alcohol cleaning pads. Just make sure you start all the corners, and then work your way from one side to the other, peeling and applying at the same time.
