There are much more efficient ways to clean money these days, than buying Vehicles from a high-profile auction. Not that I would know or anything. š
You wonāt be able to anytime soon. In fact, the Ford Bronco is expected to hold its value better than the Jeep Wrangler. So even if prices cool off, thereāll never be any ādealsā per say.
The people saying prices will crash, are just wishful thinkers. Youāre much better off ordering your...
I prefer my 2.3L Base over my 2.7L Badlands. Itās way cleaner under the hood and easier to work with. The cloth seats are incredibly comfortable. And it has Sport mode š
The thing is, people donāt want to wait. And they like the idea of having something ācustomā that no one else has. Not saying this is the route I would go. But Iāve seen rich people spend money on dumber things.
Iām just as surprised/confused as you are, but Iām not complaining. This is good for all Bronco owners. It looks like these vehicles will hold their value for a long time. Ford did a great job with the design.
Considering this wasnāt for charity, Iām not sure where the āscamā would be. Paying that much for a barely customized vehicle? Or the seller paying commission to the auction? I just donāt see where the scam is.
This Base Bronco just sold for $220k at Barrett Jackson Auctions. Itās a 2.3L with a Soft-Top. The only customizations are a lift, wheels/tires, sidesteps, a bumper, and a custom leather interior. Itās even still running 3.73 gearing (stock suspension, non-sasquatch).
My Base Bronco...
Itās better than I can even describe! Iāll try and take a video soon. The exhaust beforehand was silent, so all I heard was engine noise from the hood. Now, my Bronco sounds like an actual Bronco, and it makes it so much more fun to drive. I love hearing it idle at stoplights, and then listening...
Iām getting the exact same tailgate noise. Did you ever figure out what the issue was? Seems to be slightly different than most people on this thread.
Please be patient with me as I update this build journal over the next couple of weeks. Iāve been making tons of modifications, but havenāt had time to take any good pictures. Iāve been so impressed with how easy the Bronco has been to modify. Much easier than any vehicle I have ever owned.
From the last āteaserā thread:
Are we any closer to to pricing being released?

Will there be an option for those of us who donāt want/need any of these extra features? They sound expensive and unnecessary for those of us without hardtop prep kits. A lot of us are just looking...
I got mine on Amazon for a really good price, but theyāre sold out from there. You can buy them from Roush directly, or from a few other places online. I believe certain Ford dealers can also order them for you too.
