You’re completely missing the point. Ford says the biggest commodity constraint is the hard-top. If they have to shut down MAP for a week, that means there’s probably many more constraints than just the soft-tops.

I have a VIN, but I have no need for a purchase agreement. I ordered my Bronco from Sewell Ford, so the terms of purchase are already transparent and laid out. They’ve sent multiple emails confirming those terms.

I’ve only called the number once since getting a VIN. That being said, if they simply allowed us to track our own dates, we wouldn’t need to keep calling. Ford created their own problem.

Hopefully this means Ford has learned their lesson. Frequent communication and transparency is what’s most important to us. We don’t mind the occasional bad news, if Ford keeps us in the loop. Much better than being kept in the dark.
