Pretty unbelievable they wouldn’t even care enough to try and test it with a hose before giving it back to you. My .02 is buy at Trektop right now and go with that until you get a replacement top from Ford (you absolutely should get one under warranty). Then when you get the new one, sell it...
At this point we are probably close to a mid-cycle refresh especially since the Wrangler is getting one this year. It would be silly to trade it in before that happens, at least.
Not a fan of aftermarket wheels but I also don’t really like the sas wheels. I’d prob go with the Everglades wheels. White heritage version would also look good but prob can’t buy them.
The Badlands handles better on-road if you opt for 33s, and also gives you the option of having the amazing manual transmission (just hope you don’t get a noisy, rattly one).
yeah that would be great… I just read thru this whole thread looking for the confirmed, actual Ford recommended pressure for non sas badlands 33s to no avail
I’ve found that simply adding amber Lamin-x covers to the stock lights improve things quite a bit, look good, and cost basically nothing. Ran them on my Tacoma fogs for a long time and never felt the need to upgrade. I plan to put them on my Bronco here soon with the snow coming.
Like others have said, they are nice to have - especially if you fancy going out by yourself. Yes, a winch will usually work better and you should have both if going out alone anyways, but if I don’t HAVE to unspool my winch I don’t want to… don’t want to hassle with cleaning it and...
Like-new condition - only used a couple of weeks before I changed my setup. They attach directly to the seat backs with sewn-in velcro. Super high-quality product; very easy to sweep/wipe down. Great for dog owners or folks who haul dirty stuff in the back.
$50 - pickup only (Cincinnati area)...
Like-new condition - only used for a couple weeks before I decided to change my setup. Unlike other biminis for Bronco, this one does not flap like crazy on the freeway or have ugly zippers and such. Easily installs in about 5 minutes. Just a simple, good-looking, high quality shade that can be...
Ford factory rock rails in great condition. You will need mounting brackets to install these. The Ford part numbers for the brackets are M2DZ-54200B38-A and M2DZ-54200B39-A.
$50 OBO; pickup only (Cincinnati area)
You need 2 of each bracket - they are readily available at the links below and...
As others said, be mindful of what you are buying/installing… it’s a Chinese aftermarket company. Plastic add-ons, seat covers, etc - great. Consequential items like skid plates, electrical/lights, roof racks… probably not worth the risk to save a buck.
Your best best would probably be this 1/2 rack from broaddict:
https://broaddict.com/products/4-door-half-rack
it’s basically the OEM rack with the front part chopped off. If the sunrider rests in front of your front most hardtop slot when open, this should work. To be useful, you would likely...
lol pretty unbelievable but can’t say I’m surprised. Yeah they deff need to fix that under warranty. My .02 is sell the paper mache hard top for like $7 or $8k before it goes to crap (or at least have it replaced first, then sell it). I would bet the majority all start having issues in the next...
I deff like the ARBs better but they don’t come with a fuel skid which is probably the most important one of all. Even though Ford’s plates are not as nice, at least they cover the essentials. If money was no object I’d probably buy the ARB set and a separate fuel skid but that would be at least...
Thanks for the tip. Local pickup would deff be the best bet since shipping is $300+ it seems pretty much everywhere. Canfield is pretty far from me but will be up that way in a few weeks. I have a trailer but don’t see why I couldn’t just take the skids out of the box and throw them in the back...
Trying to figure out the most affordable way to source a set of mostly OEM skids for my Big Bend 4 door. I picked up a capable number along with the front skid on marketplace, but need the others. From what I can tell, Levittown Ford has best price online at $685 full set, but after adding...
Really wish ARB would make a fuel tank skid. I’d rather buy this kit with a tank skid even if it was like $1000 vs. buying a stock set for $830 or whatever it is.
