I'm not a "waver" unless I'm on two wheels, but I've had this happen to me seemingly when I have the top off. Maybe Jeep owners' differences end when we are all cruising in the open air?? 🤷
I went with the factory rocker panel/pinch weld covers - a little pricey for what they are but very happy with the fit and finish. They match the fender flares and actually connect directly to the plastic cladding in the wheel wells so it looks like they are all kind of one continuous piece when...
I've found that sport mode is pretty sweet especially if you have a non-sas with better road manners. It definitely gives you a more responsive throttle and a little more umph off the line.
I have an older version of the Yakima one on my Bronco now (Yakima fullswing hitch rack). The swinging function works great, I can deff open the tailgate to at least 90° maybe even more. I also have a non sas setup and one thing I discovered with the Yakima is I needed a hitch extender that also...
That would be my guess as well, just wondering what the actual hit will look like to gain 30hp and 60 lb feet of torque (for the 2.3). To me, that's the key bit of info in deciding whether the tune is worth it or not and I don't see anything on the topic anywhere.
Yeah and the Bronco also isn't a sports car... I get 25-26 mpgs on the freeway and about 20 city. Roughly 22 combined. Exactly why I didn't buy a sasquach or a trim with extra weight in steel bumpers, heavier tires, etc - it's my daily driver. Certainly wouldn't mind a little extra power but not...
Wondering if there are any details anywhere on how mpgs are affected with the Ford Performance tunes (I have a 2.3). If mpgs go down much at all I'm not interested as the non sas 2.3 gets pretty good mileage in my experience so far. If mpgs are maintained tho, I deff want to get it done ASAP!
I just towed about 2500 lbs with my 2.3 four door manual non sas yesterday - 120 miles or so. Not quite as nice as pulling with a longer wheelbase truck but definitely no issues at all. I also got 16 mpg round trip which I think was pretty good especially considering I've got the southern...
One of my first mods - Swapped the Big Bend grill out for a Base grill I found for cheap on Craigslist. I think I prefer the look of the base grill... kind of like the classic Bronco front end and really highlights the retro headlamps. I may paint the letters dark grey similar to how Toyota does...
I came from a TRD off road Tacoma to the Bronco. I worried I made a mistake the first few days but there's no doubt the Bronco is more fun to drive and way more comfortable on the road as a daily driver. I can live with hooking up my trailer when I need to. My last three cars were a Tacoma...
Big bend 4 door, manual, 2.3, locking diff, hardtop, tow package, slide out tailgate - took 9 months. Go to the biggest dealer you are willing to drive to. I ordered from the 2nd largest volume dealer in Ohio and they seem to fill orders pretty consistently. The sales manager told me I was their...
It's the factory Ford slide out tailgate. Absolutely love it so far - I got it mainly so I can easily access the roof rack once I get one installed and also to level out the floor between the cargo space and rear seats. I like that it snaps and locks in place when fully closed/fully extended so...
I haven't seen anybody else post pictures of the Canvasback seatback/cargo protectors yet so figured I'd do a dump here. Very happy with the quality and overall fitment. I have the slide out tailgate and the covers are the perfect thickness to tuck neatly around all sides - I imagine it would be...
Thanks, really appreciate it! From the outside the tan looks similar to sandstone, from the inside it kind of looked more brown but I'm guessing it's just picture lighting. How would you compare the two in-person? Just debating whether I want the punch of color or if I should get the black so...
Thanks for the pic! I was also wondering how well the driftwood matches the sandstone... Seems to be close enough to where I'd still want tan vs black. Any chance you could snap a pic from outside the vehicle? I haven't seen any tan versions other than this one pic!
Man, I was highly skeptical of the way the front tucks back when in hardtop mode and you have confirmed my worries! I'm not quite as tall as you but drooping would bug me nonetheless. Wondering if there is a way to rig something up when the hardtop is on to help...
That would be sweet if you could snap a pic or two. Appreciate your insight! I'm guessing the focus/angle of the picture on phone cameras probably makes it look like it's less see-through than it really is.
So it only took a couple of weeks of getting cooked in the sun to realize I am probably going to need a bimini. It seems the two high-end options are Gearshade and Jtops. The Jtops is what I'm leaning toward since I like their zipper setup for hardtop and also the fact that it seems to flap much...
