The 2.7L w/MT (my only issue is that the engine Must Have Direct & Port Fuel Injection).

The 2.3L "would have been" perfectly fine for me IF it had the Direct AND Port Fuel Injection, but it currently doesn't. Yes it will have enough power to handle the 35's (and most likely larger), but I can't get past the Direct Injection Only. So it's not an option "for me". I also want a MT...

Also with the can higher, any oil residue in the line going to the can, can theoretically drain back to the engine.
There are even Catch Cans which have a hose off of the bottom that lead back to the Oil Pan. So you never have to drain the can, as it's constantly returning the oil to the oil pan.

Yes (basically), an aftermarket load distributing hitch will most likely adversely affect the departure angle. Now with that said, an aftermarket rear bumper with the Class III Receiver incorporated within it would most likely not cause any departure angle issue.
